This idea is good, but I don't like it really... I would prefer they are separate characters, with their own fighting styles and fatalities, and with 2 suits for both of them... But Smoke/Noob Saibot team would be a cool idea as sub-boss...

as a reward for killing prince goro shao kahn has made noob-saibot general in his armies, however noob tried to kill shao kahn but failed, for punishment shao kahn used an expiremental spell that only he knows to fues the captured smoke and noob-saibot together, however shao kahn was unable to controll the fused beings, and as a result both become both fused and individuals noob-saibot was willing to use this to his advantage in his mission to kill sub-zero, untill one day onaga appeared in front of noob-smoke and asked them to join him and he will free
noob-smoke from themselves

smoke had tried to free sub-zero from shao kahns grasp but failed, that was bad luck for smoke, because he was then indlessly tortured by shang stung and noob-saibot, smoke then had even more bad luck when noob-saibot had failed to kill shao kahn and was fused with saibot as punishment for the both of them, smoke made a deal with noob-saibot that we work together in order to get out of this preducment and also wipe out all our enemies and eventually fight in mortal kombat

It's a cool idea but I think its for the wrong characters. I haven't actually watched it and my opinion may change. Gonna be weird trying to fight them when they are changing all the time.

I hate to be the downer, but I hate this idea. I think it's stupid as all hell.

For me, it's just too out of place. I would have liked to see maybe a Tag Team Mode which any two people can be selected each with his or her own life bar, just like in Tekken Tag. Having only 2 characters that are always stuck together, while no one else can Tag Team up seems way out of place. IMO, it throws the whole MK feel right out the window.

1.Either make a mode for the Tag Teams or

2.Make the game totally Tag Teams just like Tekken Tag did or

3.Not make any at all.

They just screwed one of my most favorite characters up, and considering he hasn't been in many games, I'm very pissed. They could have at least screwed up people that were in almost every game like Raiden and Liu Kang.

If only you could choose between them. This is the worst thing since the MAT2 MK3/UMK3 fuck up!
They really need to take a good look at MKII and rethink everything they've messed up since.

Agreed. They also fucked up when they took MK1 off of MAT2 and made it only for the collector's edition of MKD. It was a crappy way of making you buy the MKD collector's edition. I don't see how they can make so many great games including MKD, but then make some stupid ask calls like they do. It makes me wonder if Boon has a split personality or something.

This is very interesting...but my only gripe is the name. John Tobias needs the credit of creating Mortal Kombat with Ed Boon. So that lead to a character named Noob Saibot. Come on Ed, give John half of the credit.

Noob Smoke will kick all ass in MKD.. I love the concept of this.. Smoke and Noob are 2 of my favorite characters.. and having them work as a tag team.. I think that's cool.. Imagine the possibilities for Fatalities and or Hari-Kiri..

Fatality idea..

Noob lifts up his opponent like he was about to do the tornado spin, but juss then Smoke jumps into the opponents body like his possession and blows him up from the inside.. then cool kick ass pose.. FATALITY!!!!

Hari-Kiri..

Smoke wants to finish the opponent off, but Noob won't let him, so they start an argument about it.. they're anger suddenly explodes and they start kickin the crap out of each other. Then they both pull out their weapons(if they have any.. I think they will) and stab each other, they both fall to the ground bleeding to death HARI-KIRI!!!!

This duo look's fuckin' amazing!

I love how they switch, Smoke actually turns into some smoke and blows away, and Noob turns into a black cloud like.

Team combos.
Team special moves.
Team Fatalities.

I think that it will be cool, don't see anything wrong with it. They're still two different people, they're not fused together. They just probably caught a curse and are forced to be binded for some sort of reason. They have different moves and styles, they just share some special moves that they both do together.I don't think they'll always be together, sooner or later their stories will change and NoobSmoke will be Noob Saibot and Smoke like the old days. I think it's creative to merge their story lines, and I hope they have a great fatality and hari-kari.

Finally do we get somebody who looks like he/they're going to be played very differently.

One of the reasons I liked Drahmin in MKDA was because he was different to use (sorta like a breath of fresh air).

I'm impressed, because unlike in MKDA, alot of characters are looking like they are going to be played quite differently which is something I look forward to.

And people that wanted to see team fatalities, well there ya go .
