I'm in love with Sub-Zero this game. Everything i seen from him so far is a fav of mine. I feel he will be my most played from the MKSide.

I'm one of the people that thinks the Sub-Zero teleport is a little...eh..i dunno. I think that the MK team should be giving people new moves instead of rehashed ones.

Sonya looks alright. Nothing special imo.

But Shang Tsung..is...AMAZING! The new design is great and I hope a render is released soon-ish.

I agree with subs tele. I think the ice is sweet. But for the animation of him re-appearing on the other side (coming up) they should of gave him the animation he uses in MKA where he picks himself up with the ice between the rounds.

The way i had him planned, is he would turn into solid ice, fall back and break on the ground into ice pieces, re-appear doing his get up animation from mka's between rounds.

Catwoman MUST be Sonya's rival. I can see why:

SONYA:

A tough chick who lives to serve the law. Sonya is kind of like the female Batman, she joind law enforcement to fight criminals. Her brother, Daniel, was killed by criminals. Sonya will do anything to make sure the law is up held.

CATWOMAN:

A sexy criminal who lives for breaking the law. She loves playing by her rules and nobody elses. She's all about empowerment and freedom. She lives for breaking rules.

Klose and Fall just need to be a bit faster, they do seem extremely slow.

As for the animations, sadly, this reminds me of MKA’s gameplay movements. I hope this is just because its early. I want the characters to be and play smooth and fluid.

But hey, I think Catwoman could be Mileenas opponent...assuming Mileena makes the cut.



I also agree regarding Sub-Zeros teleport. I truly hate the copy/paste things they are doing again for this game.

And its kind of sad because it reminds us of the gameplay of MKA, and they perfectly said the engine would start from scratch, cero, new.

I personally think Catwoman would be amazing against Mileena, but yeah, I can see her VS Sonya.

All of the other users on this site are free to throw their opinion out there no matter what, whenever they want to. Some users post their opinions frequently, others rarely. Some users have silly opinions, others have a strong backing with facts to support (Sonya and other fans a like, so retract the claws.)

A vast amount of the time I keep my opinion on mute, I find it funny that when I do post an opinion against the general consensus I am accused of being rude and abusing my position on this site. I have never had a problem with other people having a blind love for a character. For whatever reason that character is important to them and I am all for that actually. What I find annoying is when opinions are considered fact and arguments spawn from someone disagreeing. Which is more than the case in this thread. The Sonya fans are just as guilty of being personally biased against Kitana and her fans as Kitana fans are towards Sonya fans.

I am always open to conversation, to opinion, and to disagreement. What I am not open to is other people's inability to concede any point. When one party or both parties are incapable of listening then what is the point of discussion? I merely stated my opinion, threw in an obvious fact and an embellished observation, and I am called rude. More specifically I am called rude to Sonya fans. I find that laughable. Honestly I laughed.

I also find it laughable when people try to tell me what my opinions are or should be, such as in the case of Ahnka telling me that Catwoman is empowering to females. After centuries of men looking at my breasts instead of my eyes and pinching my ass instead of shaking my hand I have become more than aggressive when a man tells me what I should feel about the empowerment of women. Women are held to a nearly unrealistic standard of beauty in this day and age. The fine line of being sexy and being slutty has become all too blurred by today's society and as a woman it is tiresome. I guarantee the men here would be having this same argument if the roles were reversed. In the comic books, Catwoman is a strong, independent female character. In that render, she is unnecessarily being exploited as nothing more than a sex symbol.

Something else I find entertaining is that I am accused of abusing my position on the site when people don't agree with my opinions. I have never banned someone for disagreeing with me. I have never banned someone hastily for having an argument. I suspect that this argument is only being mentioned because I'm female and this site has had its fair share of bad female staff members and moderators. I also feel I must apologize to the user Ice Baby whom I had an in depth discussion about sexism on this site, and how I never had to face it. I now feel that I was wrong because in the past two weeks I have never been more confronted with being a female on this site.

You can continue to dislike me all you want to. I have no issues with who likes me and who doesn't. The fact of the matter is that I have no issues with anybody currently on this site or formerly on this site. If you choose to hate me for stating my opinion that is your decision to do so. I was not rude to anybody. I'm sorry that your interpretation of that was different.

I am more than open to continuing this discussion with whomever would like to in private message. I actually encourage it. As for this thread however, there is no way it can be repaired. Thread closed.
