After the FMV the game went into demo mode and frost was fighting nightwolfs alt costume in the Beatle lair. In the puzzle kombat demo it was onaga puzzle character fighting baraka. Next round of demo it was monster fighting ermac in the slaughter house and kung lao vs. raiden in puzzle kombat. I grabbed my digital camera and waited for the next round of demo's and was able to grab a picture of jax puzzle kombat character and monster puzzle kombat character along with johhny cage vs. smoke and quan chi fighting in the Beatle lair. The quan chi picture sucks because it was moving to fast but he did fly through the Beatle lair wall and to the second level. All the MKDA guys were just that MKDA ports, but the puzzle characters were new to me.

Once again this was only in the demo portion of the game; I wish I knew if these characters are available.

Once again not sure if this has been spoken about but ever since mortalkombatonline moved, this forum has been a pain to read through with the slow ass load times and hang ups.




i would like to know what system did u see the demos on was it for ps2 or xbox?

As mblaney stated before, these pictures are most likely of hacked/ modded characters . It is also kind of suspicious that none of the pictures actually show any "kombat". In regular demos the characters are actually fighting each other. You managed to snap so many pictures and not one of them shows any kind of movement.

Actually the quan chi one is in movement and if you notice he is hard to see as he is moving. It's on the Xbox, the character you are wondering about look likes a young shujinko. If you honestly want to see more of them in action I'll put them up, but don't cry when they are blurry. Here I added a few of them in "action" http://home.comcast.net/~a.ross1/motu.html

If anyone has a website that can host videos I have some cool ones I can send to you to post. Of the characters in kombat during the demo mode. One is Shang Tsung fighting Baraka on the falling cliffs and falling to his death on the spikes.

Well, I think this explains what those characters are doing on the game disc and why they can only be accessed by hacks. Just like Rain in UMK3, lies to make you think there's more shit in the game than there actually is.

well now here is the thing...did you use a cheat device to unlock the fighters and then they showed up in your demo mode? or...do these actually appear without a cheat device. if they only appear after youve used a cheat device then who gives a fuck. if they appear by simply uploading your profile then cool. as is i HIGHLY doubt you can get this to happen any other way than a cheat device.

currently, nothing has been done with the Puzzle fighters and modding.... There has been some files i have found that point to new puzzle fighters though.

maybe boon will say what is unlockable after november...

Is there anything of Kitana???
Lets hope there is at least one hidden character in here seomwhere. This will be the only MK game never to have had hidden fighters.

I still dont understand why kira and havik are shown in the puzzle kombat demo if theyre not playable. Makes no sense? Without cheat device.

ok this is not confirmed but ive heard dat u can get deadly aliance characters bu choosin other characters (probably by doin some code) but only in practice mode. and the one about jax's alternate costume, daz his alternate from deadly alliance. if uve corrected yaself forgive me.

Everyone should load their profiles and watch the 4 game demo. I have a PS2 and I have never used a cheat device on it! wow

If you look at puzzle at the bottom right, you will see Scorpion fighting Havic and Kira fighting her alternate costume! wow

I will take some pictures of it soon.

These are some interesting pics, I hadn't seen this thread before... I'm betting you can fight against these characters in Versus/Arcade somehow just like Noob/Smoke/Jade in MK2 but they're probably not selectable. Why would the models be there otherwise? confused
