PlayStation 2 has the best controller for MKD!

PlayStation 2 has the best controller for any fighting game.

Xbox's controllers are too rounded, chunky, and clompy. They seem like your chubby cousin that can't move smoothly at all.

Gamecube's controllers are too aligned for slower games, such as RPGs, etc. They do not have that quick response that fighting games require.

In my opinion, the best all-around current gaming console! However, in all honesty, I do feel that PlayStation 2's controller is very quick, responds very well, has a very balanced layout with every button available right where you can get at it, and is very, very smooth!

You can't disagree with that!

(I'm talking about the stock controllers, the ones that come with the consoles. Not custom ones that you can buy separate.)

And, let's all not forget about the DEMAND for Full-Motion Video character endings in MKD!

Way to assume something about a game that comes out months from now!

But GameCube controllers are damn near perfect, very comfortable.

Xbox controllers (the big ones, not those crappy small S) are very comfortable, except for some of the buttons being too close and hard. I have long fingers so that's why I think the Xbox controller is comfortable and not too big.

PS2 controller is nice, but the analog sticks suck ass on them.

Yeah, the ps2's controller is good and easy to control, very simple. But i also like the gamecubes to, very neat, awesome, and comfortable.

Notice how I said the world-famous PS2 controller is best for fighting games!

MKD is a fighting game, correct?

Yes the PS2 controller is the best controller for fighting games in general. I've tried the GC and X-box's S controller and didn't like the feel of either.

No case not closed. You assume. It's like those things that all As are Bs and all Cs are Bs. Therefore all As are Cs? I'm not saying it won't be the best, I'm just saying. The PS2 controller is a good controller but I hate their Analog sticks, they are so crappy. Xbox and GC Analog sticks are better. GC controller fits the hand perfectly as does PS2, Xbox is a nice size for my hand but it's not the greatest controller ever.

Damn straight. PS2 controller is much better than XBOX or GC for fighting games. I had to sell MKDA on my GC cuz it was to clunky. The controller is also the reason that i will prably purchase Deception on PS2 rather than XBOX.

urbansmooth, your a dimwitted fool. Everyone has their own tastes. I for one, liked the GC controller for Mk:da. And I have all 3 consoles. Im probably gonna get the next game for Xbox, because ps2 looks like shit.

lol. Oh god. This I sense will start abuse amongst fellow forum members as we all have strong opinions and some people just can't seem to accept that and flame others.
Imo, the Xbox "s" control is nice and comftorable, easy to use for me..went through Mk:Da perfectly fine so I don't see why it will be different for Mk:D. Thats just my opinion

To blackwizard. U must have alot of patience. I had MKDA for GC also. I admit it was playable, but the PS2 controller jus did a better job IMO. No need to get pissed off. Jus chill.

it wasnt that bad, I kind of enjoyed it a lot actually. Same goes for SC2. I dont think any game is impossible to learn, except Street Figther on Gamecube, now thats a Bitch.

"Console war" threads aren't allowed. Furthermore... it is a bit foolish for anyone to claim that any system's controller will be better than another's, considering the game isn't even released. If anyone needed an example on why these threads aren't allowed, this thread will serve as that.
