This is against the computer, so i dont know if it will work against real players, but looks pretty lame! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-pIwcoEURI&eurl;=http://www.mortalkombatunited.com/showthread.php?p=15356

I haven't gotten my hands on this game yet, but I really hope that isn't an infinite. If this game has a wakeup like MKA, it shouldn't be a problem.

The addition ofRage, and breakers prevent infinities from ever being a big a problem.....atleast that's what i heard someone say.

i posted that before I saw the vid....
But if you use Rage.....you should still be able to get out of it.
But yeah, this might need some patching. Dont know how Midway didnt catch this one. It's looks so easy...

I heard you can tech back to your feet when you get knocked over, which should allow you to get up in time to avoid the second smash.
Even if not, I would expect a patch in the near future anyway. That's way too glaring to be ignored.

Indeed, Hopefully they'll patch it or you can rage out of it.

Unless tech rolls, or Wake up's. Are fast enough, not so sure. And to boot, if this special keeps people jumping and superman has a projectile I.E. Laser Eyes. This could be a serious problem. MKD it was Dairou, MKA Sareena, now MKvsDCU, It look's to be Superman as the god tier. Pathetic.

ignorance.....
LMFAO!
But I'm not so sure this is actually an infinite yet, I hear the AI is just shitty enough that it can't avoid it, and as far as being "tested against people online" goes, well, it's hard to say the level of skill or knowledge of the people who it was tested on at this stage. Give it a couple more days.
Although if this is legit and it can't be teched then everybody at Midway needs to die in a fire and their playtesters need to be shot.

i do agree!
well one of the comments on youtube says it can't be an infinite since it always says 2hit combo meaning the chain ends signifying you could break out of it somehow.
Still, I'd like to know how to do this pro move. i can't figure out how to do any pro moves and superman is my main character.

Somebody on SRK was testing it over and over and couldn't tech it. Couldn't get the CPU in practice mode set to tech to do it either. Only way he saw to get out was to active Rage and use the opening invincibility to jump away.
Hilarious it's Supes that's broke.

I read that on SRK actually. It didn't sound good. But at the same time, I'm still waiting on other people to confirm this because I don't completely trust the person who posted it. I'm hearing rumors of people who say they've timed an auto recover or instant stand type into being able to jump it, so I'm holding out hope atm.
That it's only recognised as 2 hit combo is pretty insignificant btw. Only "natural combos" are generally "recognised" by fighting games, combos which are a direct succession of hits, one move immediately following another as a string, chain, or juggle. They're linked. But something like, for example, knocking the opponent down, then hitting them when they're on the ground, isn't considered a natural combo, so it doesn't register on the combo counter. For example in Tekken 4 Paul can d+1 a downed opponent almost half a dozen times in a row in certain places and they can't do anything about it except get repeatedly hit, but it doesn't register as a combo because technically the moves aren't linked. Same principle with this ridiculous OTG basically.

I have a feeling that this will be confirmed. I also have a feeling that we'll be seeing a lot more stuff like this soon.
I thought this game would be broken while others were going on about how "MK has a great fighting system for the first time in ages".

Despite it saying 2 hits everytime, don't mean it can't ruin the game. Yea the damage comes out saying 2 hit w/e damage. But look at how quick it comes out at you, almost limitless delay between ground pound repeat. Now lets say someone is playing with a character with no teleport and just keeps jumping to avoid that special and then superman throws in oh say the laser eyes, catches them they either get stunned or stagger w/e comes about from that special it leaves em open for another few ground pounds.
I'm gonna test this later today on MAX, And try GP+LE. Hopefully, it's not that bad, and MIDWAY learned from the last time they gave a character a RAPID knockdown.
Punisher can you tell me the delay between ground pounds and laser eyes? Thanks.

I find it hilariously fitting that SUPERMAN of all characters is broken
What about Jax's ground pound?
