possible ripped clothing

on the video where raiden fight baraka in a regular match(the video that raiden does not do his victory pose),baraka swiches styles from silate to hung gar, and back to silate. When he gets to silate the second time he hits raiden and it makes a metal sound. Then after raiden gets back up two peices of cloth fall down. Could this be the riped clothing that we wanted since DA?

If this has been noticed or posted before, I am sorry That I created another thread.

Im not sure if its been confirmed or not...but I hope they include it in the game

nah man those were bugs up close....i too thought it was ripped clothing.

I don't see it, dude sad
What I do see are beetles at the wall, but due to the camera position that wall is invisible, and the piece of ripped clothe you saw was a beetle crawling there at the moment, because if you take a good look, Baraka doesn't hit Raiden at that moment, cause Raiden jumps back
Only my opinion though...

darn...I see now that they are bugs. I had to some in to see them better. I thought they can from raiden's cape

When Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance was in the works, they promise realistic features. Bruises, rip clothing, breakable weapons. Did they add it? No.

I just hope MK:D includes those features. I don't want another MK Game that is base on Deception.

Look at the Raiden in the Chess Kombat. Raiden 8 i believe. The Cape is intact and in other pictures it is torn. I believe that the cape does take some sort of damage.

Hopefully I can put the insect issue to rest. The insects you see in the video from Raiden are nothing more than, a realistic touch put into the background whenever the lightsource is near in the background.

The bruising effect kinda sucked... it looked like someone splashed purple paint on their face... and breakable weapons would be kind of annoying (for me at least),
but shredded clothes would be cool!

forget that, i want to see battle wounds on the fighters bodies. it looks stupid when someone get smack with a axe and blood spills but no wound.

this goes with the ripped clothing as well, when kano would let out a furious combo with his knives, it would make sense to have cloting being torn up.

AX ain't got sh!t on MK clothing, its bulit to last.
