You can't really play online if you get the RROD, so there's really no point in boasting about how much better it is. PS3 wins, by default, in the Online category (as well as almost every other). What does a gameshark have anything to do with how much better the console performs? Did they stick a gun to your head and tell you to purchase it? It's funny you mention that as all 3 previous consoles had an Action Replay Max anyways, therefore your argument is invalid.

Sony won't come in last... last time I checked console statistics (yesterday) Sony is still outselling the Xbox360... by... um... I think 22,000 units (or somewhere along those lines).

I'm trying to come up with my own list of Xbox 360 exclusives that flopped, but I can't think of any. Not that they're all amazing, it's just that... well... there really aren't that many. Halo3, Ninja Gaiden 2, Lost Plane... uh... NVM, Dead Rising, Biosho... aww geez... NVM.

Don't get me wrong, I love(d) my Xbox360. Let's be real here, PS3 is on top of it's game. The hardware is better, and the games are better. While 360 does have better online play, it doesn't mean crap once you realize you're paying $50-60 for something you still can't play once you (inevitably) hit the RROD. Go buy yourself a MGS4 PS3 Bundle, you'll thank me for it later.

I don't know if there is a difference between a BETA and a Demo of MK vs DC. I would think the Demo would be more along the lines of its complete stage whereas the BETA is still in a filthy watermark stage. I'd rather wait a little longer, maybe past E3 and maybe then, once the top dogs have gotten there hands on the demo, we can get our hands on a Demo from Xbox Live or PSN.

I wasn't comparing H3 and KZ1, I never stated the comparison and I never implied it, the only way you could ever think that is if you're just blind. Then again..from reading your stuff and thinking that from saying I like H3 better than COD4 I must be comparing KZ1 and H3 when talking about K1 and Halo. lol, dude what are you talking about? Xbox 360 is vastly superior online. That's a fact vs. any sony console. Xbox one was better then PS2, and the 360 is better then PS3. I've played all of them online man, my friend has all 3 consoles and PS3 lags horribly....you misunderstand me with the gameshark or action replay. Sony allows gameshark ONLINE, offline doesn't count for anything.....I'm speaking strickly online in which no cheats should be allowed and sony fails horribly because it's not only not moderated but allows lame cheats online to begin with. Xbox doesn't so I can't see how you can possibly believe Sony is better then Xbox, because it's not in that category so it's really not an invalid argument but a rather good point...Graphically they're virtually even, but it's been said that games on both consoles thus far are better on the 360 because of more memory, extra content and handles online much better then PS3 can. Example, GTA4.....look at the sales of it, it outsold PS3 and GTA was "one of Sony's key games" not anymore...

PS2 I have and used to occassionally bring it over to my friends house here and there, it sucked online...and btw that Sony console supported Gameshark cheats on certain games. MKD and MKA to name a few...kind of lame if you ask me.

Out of these games for xbox, some flopped others haven't. Halo 3 didn't flop, if you think that not sure what world you're on dude lol. It didn't do as well as Halo 2 but still did very good regardless(and I'm by no means a Halo fan, in fact I don't like the Halo series) but facts are facts none the less. Ninja Gaiden 2 just came out, but isn't doing bad. Lost Plane was alright....I didn't hear much hype for that game to begin with honestly. Dead Rising is one of those games that actually did better in Japan at one point but at first it did pretty well in the USA. It's one of those underrated games, but Capcom got sued by the creators of Dawn of the Dead movies since they ripped the idea off... BioShock did well, so not sure what you're talking about. It got game of the year last year (for Xbox) along with Mario Galaxy(Nintendo)

Haze seriously though flopped bigtime, I had feeling it would be a Halo damager(not really a killer) but it failed. We'll see how Killzone does, that Sony's been boasting about the past few years now.

You're entitled to your opinion of preference but the hardware isn't really that much different "graphically" then the 360. Not that I'm a big fanatic of "graphics alone" because in the end I'm a nintendo guy myself, the wii's success is huge and had nothing to do with the graphics, but rather gameplay.

I disagree with you on better games, I think PS3 has the worst out of all 3 and Xbox and Nintendo have more better games honestly. Only now is Sony making some noise. It's still dead last though and has lots of work to do.

When I said NVM for Lost Planet and Bioshock because they're not really Xbox360 exclusive titles anymore. Feel free to scratch off the "Only on Xbox" tag on the top of the case. I never said Halo flopped, that's why I said I'm trying to think of flopped exclusives but I couldn't think of any.

I don't think Sony ever reall boasted Haze... it think it was more of a fan-base thing. I never did like or care much for Haze. It was just a generic FPS (like Halo) with a nectar enhancing gimmick. Same with Killzone, it's all fan-base hype (me being supportive of Killzone). You know, some will flop some won't. You have your Haze, and you have your MGS4.

Everyone should care for blu-ray. It has beat HD-DVD and it if you want to continue watch HD DVDs in the future you're going to have to buy a Blu-Ray player. You should thank Sony for doing us a favor and including it with the PS3 without any extra costs. A blu-ray alone is roughly $500, but we're getting a PS3 w/ blu-ray player for about $300-500.

For those who bought an Xbox360 (mistake i kinda regret) have to pay roughly $300 for the console, another $500 for a separate blu-ray player, $60 for Live, and A LOT of time and patience for several (one too many) repairs. The PS3 is a complete bargain, and you might just end up paying MORE for an Xbox360.

From what I research, the PS3 has 8 cores that run at 3.2GHz each, and Xbox has a Triple Core running at 3.2GHz each. It makes the PS3's performance twice as powerful. PS3 Blu-Ray holds 50Gb, 360 DVDs hold 15GB (Which would explain why MGS4 is on one CD, and it would take A LOT of CDs to fit it on Xbox360).

Some other minor and simple things to consider. PS3 has USB charger, and it doesn't have to use/waste any batteries. It has a 75 foot wireless range, compared to a 30-something. Backwards compatibility. 6 USB ports. Free internet. Six-axis. Not to mention, no overheating problems or LOUD fans.

Sure Xbox360 has a better Live ($60) but when we get Home (free) it just MIGHT change things around. Not to mention most of Xbox360 games are shooters, whereas PS3 would have more variety (arguable I guess).

Sure the Xbox has more TOTAL sales (OBVIOUSLY, it's been out almost twice as long as PS3 has) but in the last 3-4 months the PS3 has outsold the Xbox360.

With God of War 3, Little Big Planet, Killzone 2, SOCOM, Afrika, Final Fantasy XIII, Grand Turismo 5, Heavy Rain, Resistance 2, Tekken 6, etc... on it's way, I'm sure Sony will be in for one heck of a holiday.

But hey, I dunno why we're even getting into any of this. I like both consoles, one of them is (obviously) dead so I'm going to side with and play the other one. If we keep this up the mods will close the topic, we should just shank hands and get back on topic.

Concerning the online comparisons it was a general comparison. But just saying as far as gameshark, last genre PS2 shouldn't have allowed cheats online. I'm sure you can agree that's lame on Sony's part.

Blu Ray isn't a big deal to me honestly, A movie for me looks just as good on DVD on a nice normal TV. I don't need to buy extra fancy TVs, Blu Rays or HD. They're not really doing me a favor because it's making the customer pay more for something that's not that important to the "world of gaming"

The fans mainly boasted about Haze being the Halo killer...however Sony has themselves boasted about KillZone, they flat out were bragging about it couple years ago initially at E3 when it was thought to come out before getting pushed back. I think KZ will be better then Haze, but not Halo overall. Most likely PS3's best shooter once it comes out I think.

You're right Xbox lost a few exclusives, Saint's Row is one of them but have to also admit Sony lost a lot bigtime as we've seen over the past year.

On the Xbox paying more, I do disagree here and feel Sony's ripping more people off. I mean they also are the only console company out of the big 3 to in the history of video gaming A. turn heads when it came out and not in a good way...with the ridiculous price and B. Have to be forced to lower their price twice since the 600 dollar mark was killing them along with lack of games.

On the TV thing, Xbox 360 has a DVD player built in which as I've said before is more then good enough for me. So, If anything I'm getting something I already have and basic for nothing with my Xbox. I don't need Blu Ray or HD, plus as you said you can buy the HD connector if you want it that bad. Xbox live is totally worth it, and it's 50 bucks yearly(for me anyway) maybe if you're new it's not more but it's well worth it. Moderated, best online play out of the 3 consoles easily and offers the most online options. In fact PS3 is taking cues from Xbox 360's marketplace as well as Nintendo's wii remote motion sensor with a soon to be PS3 motion sensor of their own.....

The 360 also has a charger batterie pack, not a big deal honestly. And you can charge and play with it. The BC compatibility on PS3 and 360 both suck IMO because it's not for every last genre game, like the wii supports every GC game. The only console to offer full 100% BC.

Your point concerning the 360 outselling PS3 is good to a point, you see the PS2 did the same thing at first because it came out before everything else. So that's a given, however if you look more into statistics even though the 360 has been out longer then both PS3 and Wii, the Wii actually surpassed 360's worldwide in total within the past few months. That also came out the same time as PS3, so in that respect. The PS3 has simply failed, since the Wii who came out the same time as PS3 roughly outsold 360's now worldwide and in the USA. PS3 has outwold 360's of late, but they're still in 3rd and the difference between all 3 is around the same which is 6 million units each roughly from each other. Wii>360>SonyPS3

Still, none the less PS3 has some work cut out for them catching up.

The only game right now that is good online and well done is clearly Bad Companys demo. Out of all the PS3 games I've played online not only does it run smooly and less laggy than most, it keeps up with all of the crap going on between choppers artillery strikes rocket explosions nade launcher explosions and keeps going. I would also like to add the 360 version did not have any hiccups either but I never expected it to. Also both are completely identical when it comes to graphics.

Interesting post, to break it down in a nutshell to save type time here's some interesting things to consider.

Leading wise: Nobrainer...Wii's kicking ass(everyones ass, especially Sony) It's still wii>360>>>>>>>>PS3

Sales wise:Wii and 360 are leading, wii in consoles/360 in games

Good game wise:matter of opinion on all consoles, but I will say this 1st party exclusives games for all consoles haven't failed yet for any of them.
