well in MK2 you always buffer your next attack, so w/ kitana to do the kick fan you

jump kick, while jump kicking tap F F FFF once you hit press HP+LP. thats a combo.

some attacks you can string together that aren't combos but could catch your foe off guard.

you can sweep into a uppercut, D+LP into a uppercut. LP then sweep etc.

some attacks you cant string hits together like a standing HK, standing LK, Standing HP (unless it hits a jumping foe then you can combo after it), after a fireball (unless done in the air).

yea bone if you dont already know how to play tekken, then its not worth it. if you have the cash to spend then get it. its fun playing w/ these guys from MKO.

i myself will never be a pro at tekken because of how the blocking works, i keep tapping BBBBBB O_O i cant stop LOL

Heres my Tekken 5 DR Anaysis:

* Lag often kills gameplay because of input delay. That, and its very hard to do regular juggles.

* DJ, Kazuya, and Heihachi's EWGF is very hard to perform online...... even on a good connection. Very retarded.

*................. Eddy and Christie are quite possible the gayest characters out there...... Fuckin Cart Wheel 50/50's.

RJ, I already told you how to get out of the cartwheel move, lol. Just press up as soon as you get hit by it when you're on the floor. Dan tries to pull it off on me sometimes, but he knows that shit don't work on me, lol.

EWGF is hard to do even offline. You know using headsets has an affect on lantency of the game.

Ok so let me get this straight. On tekken DR when you punch it waits a second then you actually punch? If so its not even worth playing online. you won't have any moves to work with and you won't be able to do a simple juggle.

But the connection has to be really bad for that to happen. That's the only laggy thing for DR. It has none of this bullshit camera angle lag, hits going through your opponent, hitting your opponent from full screen, etc. None of that shit. Actually me and Dan have a really smooth connection for him being on east coast and me being on west coast. So the lag is really nothing to worry about.

lag usually isnt bad.

but when i fight arcade and nakm my game is delayed compared to theirs.

for example we were talking on the mic, and nakm said that arcade hit him in the toe, i seen what they were talking about maybe 3-5 seconds later.

well all this MK2 is slow shit and Tekken is Laggy shit made me loose some interest in the PS3 besdes KillZone2 Call of Duty 4 and the other great games and whatnot . so im gonna hold my money and buy it next week .

it depends on who you play, just like in any online game. it isnt Tekken or MK2 its the connection the player has.

You shouldn't let MK2 and Tekken DR get you down. MK2 may not be the best MK but it works wonders online. Its as if there was no lag at all. Plus the rest of the good games for the PS3 will be here in do time.

Ok.... I'm being over dramatic about "1 Second", but you will for sure notice input delay when you play. Not all the time... but there will be quite a few times where you'll notice a little something that fucks up your juggles, ect.
