He started out with his storyline as an army guy, why not keep it that way? The problem with Jax in MKDA I think was that even though he was black, his face looked like a white person, with a very dark tan. If Jax would be like the guy in MK:A, then he would be cool IMO.

Agreed ShaolinChuan, Jax's face did look like a tanned white face, lol. Cyrax looked more authentic. On the other hand Frost looked like a Chinese albino :).

Jax was the best in his debut - MK2.

I think Jax should just be worked on a little more seriously.. more so with his model rather than his personality..

I thought he looked stupid in MK:DA.. but was shocked at the use of his rifle. It'd be better if he ran out of bullets and had to reload though and the bullets should have spread and not been so 100% accurate/cheap all the time.

Jax was really fucking annoying in MK:DA. I mainly chose him to fight against so I could kick his ass. The gangster look was stupid, with the medallion and shit.

He became Stryker in DA.wit that gun.
I personally like the character and i picked him alot because he was strong and i was really cheap using that gun move =) but he was good i liked his fighting style..but when he says stuff it's liek Playing the new TMNT game all over again

I say have his main outfit be full field military, none of the 'Oh yeah' etc, but have an alternate be his civilian outfit, what some are calling 'hood,' with the funny phrases and all. This way you get the choice of which you prefer. The professional drill sargent or the 'gangster.'

As for the arms I wish they could make them optional, but I understand about keeping them to fit with the story. As for his story, he does need someway to get out of Sonya's shadow. MK:D may be his chance. Jax is a good character with potential that hasn't been used since MK2. For some reason, I keep wishing he would go rogue and become a neutral character instead of one of the good guys. Maybe a loss in memory or getting fed up with Sonya getting all of the fame.

Ok...why should the "gangster" costume even be an option?? Surely he can find something else to wear that doesn't make him look like a thug. Just because he's black doesn't mean he has to dress like a gangster.Why would anyone even consider that as a possible costume for him??

The gangster outfit gave him personality. Without it he seems like a stale fighter that shows no emotion. I loved his "homeboy" attire and I hope he still has it in MK:Deception. BTW, people are saying every character will have 3 costumes so mabye 2 can be military and one can be "gangster" that way everybody is happy.

I see what you're saying. In MK2 he seemed very professional. He was tough and fought like a champion. In MK:DA he seemed very unprofessional. He didn't act serious like he did in MK2. I agree in MK2 he was the man. But I thought he was ok in MK:DA.

I have an idea for his costumes...

1.) Military uniform.(No "Awww yeah" or any other phrases like that)

I told you shitheads time after time Jax's costume was Mike Tyson inspired, which is not thugish, it's a rich boxers' outside attire. You just seem to like throwing in the word racist in every situation to make it seem like you've got a valid point. The fact that we just wish he was more professional (being in the military and whatnot) has nothing to do with racism, it only has to do with the way Jax is potrayed in MK:DA. Boon and the team introduced him as a military man they should stick to it.

Edit: He could've been introduced to us as a white guy, it still wouldn't be making a difference Bibly the fact is there would still be people arguing about it, because of the personality they gave him. Race has nothing to do it.
