there were times when they blocked the bullets (gofigure) But u was quick enough to redo the move after they blocked...and..it irks me when
they block bullets with their arms..and

In all honesty i don't care. what Jax looks like.
i like his fighting styles and those Tonfa had some untapped potential that needs more work...
I liked his normal outfit..but i wish he didn't have a beret or sunglasses..

with black gloves and dog tags. I wish they brought back his old moves like the energy wave...

You know what I think? I think some people on here, a lot of people, are rockers that dispise hip hop culture and don't want any of it in MK. That is what I think. I don't understand how people don't get the concept of CHOICE. If you don't like ghetto, DON'T ****ING PICK HIM. Certain characters appeal to certain people. Thats the way it goes. I might like a character like Jax, some people might prefer a goth type character.

And I agree, Jax's face in MK:DA looked like a tanned white guy lol. Also, I don't really think characters like Sub Zero and Frost look Chinese at all. Infact, up until Kung Lao's face was shown in DA, and Bo'Rai Cho, the only two overtly Asian characters in the game were Liu Kang and Shang Tsung. Which doesn't make sense considering the East Asian orientation of MK.

And it makes absolutely no sense for Sektor to be black, isn't he, as a former Lin Kui member, supposed to be Han Chinese?

I really don't see why everbody is complaining about Jax. Most of you are saying he looked best in MK2, personally I think MK:DA is his best appearance.

I'm really glad they made him come back.

I never really cared for the 'gangsta' look (if that is what you can call it) but it was fun from time to time.

His speech is hilarious, I love it when he's sayings things like "That's what you get", especially after doing a reversal (insult and injury).

He always had those speeches, everybody still remembers his 'Gotcha!' from MK2. Sadly, they got rid of them in MK3 & MK4. But now they're back with a vengeance! :)

By the way, didn't anybody notice something different about Jax? Something he's always had in the past...

Jax should stay gangsta hands down. It gives a little hip hop to Mortal Kombat. One of his fight styles should be the all in your face, never back down street style.

I have nothing against hip hop, the fact that I have a deftones sig, and not a 50 cent sig has nothing to do with the fact that he is supposed to be a military man. He should act like it, how many times have you ever seen a general dressed "gangsta" ? Yes, you're right we do have a choice whether or not we want to play with his alternate attire (if in fact it'll be back at all), but I wish they'd keep him more professional. Before you all get all touchy and start trying to flame again, keep in mind.... this is a forum , you ARE allowed to voice your opinions!

I think everyone is taking this game too seriously, like another level of seriousness. But seriously, the mk team should do what they want with Jax. Playing with Jax was a fun experience, I mean, not all the characters should be that serious. I would hate to see them change the personality they gave Jax, especially now that I am used to it. In fact, I want them to come up with more stuff for him to stay, and if he has undersized purple pants, he should lose it.

Gangsta- Wears baggy pants, always wearing a black jean jacket (or a black coat during the winter), gets into fights for no reason, shooting people, squeaky clean name brand shoes or boots, always hang out with a group.

Jax- Wears sweat pants in his alt. (that aren't even baggy), a yellow vest (no gangsta wears yellow), a dragon madalion (which nobody wears anymore), in the army.

Just because Jax wears something a black dude would wear doesn't mean that he's a thug or a gangsta.

Oh man, great point. His alt. didn't really scream gangsta or thug, it was really more just something a black guy would wear(well a lot of white guys too, black fashion is very influential)..yet people on here seemed to automatically label that as 'thug'. Do I smell a whiff of prejudice?

Well this post got at of hand. all i was saying is if Jax is in the army. Make him look like he is in the army. Thats why i started this post and thats what i wanted.

I feel that since Jax is in the military that he should act the part. They should make him look like a straight up Rambo-type with the cammy trousers,flack jacket without a shirt, dog tags, and the metal arms. Throw a kevlar helment on just for effect and let the fun begin. I would think it would kick ass.

I think that with his metal arms, he should use his left hand to grab the opponent's head like a basket ball, and crush it slightly, you hear a crack and the opponent screams and tries to get Jax's hand off his head.

Then Jax stabs the guy right under the rib cage with his right hand, grabs the rib cage from the bottom, struggles a little like Scorpion's MKDA Fate and rips it out, but it's still attached to the guy from his neck and pelvis.
so his rib cage is just hanging out.

then with his left hand he crushes the head even harder and makes it explode.

Jax then shakes his arms once like a whip downwards to shake the blood from his arms.

After seeing Scorpion perform the arm rip/ beat fatality in the trailer, I think it would better suit Jax instead. It just doesn't seem to fit Scorpion, but it's cool nonethless.
