Well, Shang Stung is dead, it says so in Liu Kangs bio, and Quan Chi we're not so sure about. NO real leads on him yet.

Im assumeing from ur first post u watched the intro/demo? if not shangs fortress colapsed when raiden blew it up in his last dich effort to destory onaga. Quan-Chi, Shan Tsyng, & Raiden are dead acording to the intro. Raiden is obviously "Reborn" as Dark-Raiden, As stated Shang Tsung is assumed Dead. & Quan Chi is Unknown But i'm guessing is also "Dead" and by Dead i mean he'll be back in a game or 2.

I believe that Shang Tsung is either dead, or he lost a whole bunch of souls when Raiden destroyed Shang Tsung's palace. Or perhaps Shang Tsung is inside of Liu Kang's possesed corpse?
Quan Chi I think is alive, if you watch the intro you see that Quan Chi was well aware of what Raiden was intending to do. Quan Chi even asked Raiden "What are you doing!?" before Raiden unleashed his godly essence to destroy Onaga. Quan Chi began to run away before Raiden unleashed his energy. I think Quan Chi is alive and is hiding out.

I think Quan Chi values his life more than the amulet don't you agree? I bet Quan Chi would do anything not to return to the Netherealm where he would have to confront Scorpion yet again. I think Quan Chi was knocked out from the explosion and was buried under a pile of rubble. In the blast Quan Chi's amulet flew off of his belt and left Quan Chi. I think in the next game, Quan Chi will want his amulet to return to him. If Shujinko had not destroyed it yet.

I'd love to see Shang Tsung return in the next game as the floating old man. It would fit in perfectly with his storyline since he lost control of the souls he has enslaved inside him for all these centuries.
It would also be cool if his soul was banished to the Neatherrealm and he lost his human form. Then when he returns will get to see his "true" form.
Hes gotta make a come back. He's the original MK baddie.

That is very very true.... I think Shang as an old man would be really cool to see again.

yes taker, follow this procedure:
Take a sharp instrument(an Exact-o knife works well) and remove the first layer of the game disc. You have to be VERY careful not to break the cd, but just turn it over so it is on the read-side and scrape off the first layer.
AFter you do that, you have to cover both sides of the disc in a thick substance...peanut butter works rather well.
Put the game in your PS2/XBox. If the tray wont close because of the peanut butter then force it shut.
Go to the main menu of the PS2/Xbox and read from your memory card. While it is accessing the card, rip it out of the system, then put it back in. This will NOT corrupt your data...it will modify the MK save to unlock the Dragon King, the DA characters from Konquest, and one 'Super Fighter' that you will find if you look at my sig.
