I pre-ordered the special edition from gamestop. how long until I get it?

It's actually available now, Collector's Edition games are released the same day as the regular games. So you can get it now. Actually, at the time of this posting, you can't because GameStop is closed

Yes, due to the fact that the Colelctor's Edition ships out the same time as the regular edition would, you will get it the same day regardless.
