Undead is not equivalent to being evil.

Still, it's way to early to reach towards any conclusions like this.

I was thinking more along the lines of that he's just really pissed off.

I was thinking after he gave up his god like essence his appearence turned the opposite of what it was. Red eyes instead of blue. Black outfit instead of White Etc.

I doubt he's evil. If he is, might as well turn everybody evil.

Reason one. There are flies surrounding him in the video seen on IGN.

Reason two, he gives himself in a kamikaze. Sending him to Hell and back.

I am 100% sure that Raiden is not a vampire, because vampires have wings and Raiden doesn't!!!

Well bio's are normally on place to explain why a character is fighting. Just because it doesn't say the DK didn't take over Raiden's body doesn't mean it could not of happened. Although I am quite sure it did not, I'm just saying.... ya know the game os called Deception and all.

If you have noticed. It also says GOOD in alignment.

Although I think the alignment indication within the bio's are valid only prior to the events of MKD, I have to agree with DMitch. Making Raiden evil isn't logical whatsoever.

I just noticed something, thanks to Wanderer for posting pics anyway I noticed that Raiden has a thing like a horn things in his hat, kind of the ones that Li Mei has on her helmet. maybe he has something to do with the DK after all.... I might be wrong though... Well just look at the pics that Wanderer posted. and you will see what I mean. Just look at the top of his hat on the chess picture.

Yeah I saw that too I was wondering the same thing. But he can't be evil. It says good in his bio but there could be somthing weird up with him and the DK. BTW it could just be his war hat

i was watching the chess kombat video when he gose to fight baraka he hits him then he turns into him. So is Radien like Shang Tsung now all right i watched it again and he seems like he has magic because he throws somethin down then becomes him

Yes, I'm only saying though that alliances can change during the events in MK:D. I still agree with you that it is highly unlikely, but I wouldn't dismiss it just because the bio for events leading up to MK:D says Good.

NO! Raiden is the shifter in Chess Kombat. The shifter in Chess Kombat transforms into his opponent.

Remember he drained all his power to try and destroy the DK, to no avail. And now he's a pissed off sorta shattered Raiden.

I've watched the video many times now, and firstly there aren't any flies around Raiden, if anyone sees this post a pic so that we can dissect it.

So Raiden loses his "godliness", and because of this action he turns all evil looking, red eyes and all, but isn't evil? Doesn't make sense.
