I like Jax
But i can't help but feel he is now nothing more than the Stereotypical Black Guy..
If i ever met the guy who gave him his Look in Deadly alliance i would smack em in the face and yell at them for ruining his Design..
He looked fantastic in 3 and now he looks like some dumb Steroid taking Android..
I hope one of his alt outfits in Armageddon resembles his Mk3 look.
He still has cool moves..

He's ok to me. He should lose the metal arms of his imo.

I'm slightly ticked off at his portrayal in Deadly Alliance, but I still remember when he first debuted and how much ass he kicked. He, along with Kitana and Mileena, became instant favorites of mine. Hopefully they'll take a more serious, militant approach to Jax's character in Armageddon and burn his alternate costume.

Jax is pretty cool.
Despite that his moves suck.
The idea of a real cyborg is pretty cool.
And when I say real cyborg, I mean he is half man, and half robot.
Sektor, Cyrax, and Smoke aren't cyborgs people! Get it striaght!

Jax was great in MKII, i loved it when he said "gotcha", too cool. i also liked his metal arms it made him one of the more realistic fighters not being able to form fireballs out of thin air, he got his special abilities from his cybernetic arms and his strength from within.

i give him a 9 cuz he had cool metal arms that nobody else had and was prety awesome in mk:DA

one of my fav characters since hes the first black character in the game MK did steriotype him in MKDA wit the machine gun with him sayin oh yeah and his alt but I liked his MK3 look but it dont matter he keeps his metal arms Im givin him but he still kicks ass with or without them 9.3/10

Jax was awesome in MK2, MK3, and MK4... especially MK3, but lost his coolness-factor in MK:DA.
Even though my vote no longer counts, this is how I rate the characters that I missed out on... because my opinion is that important to all of you...

I always like Jax I acually like his moves. His storyline like soyna's is bland i mean ya ya ya the same thing outworld agency thing a good rating here also 8.3/10

I don't see what was so wrong with his MKDA outfit, I liked it personnally
But I didn't like his alternate outfit however, that was not Jax.
His worse look was his MK4 look, Jax is supposed to be a bit bigger then the other characters but his model was as big as Liu Kang for example.
I give him a 8 on 10, I liked the fact that he was a different character gameplay wise then the rest of the roster

What a bad ass, loved his fatality in mk3 where he would morph into a giant and crush his oppenent, a solid 8.5 from me

I just dont like his look, story or gameplay. And those metal arms made him worse for me.

Umm, no. You got it completelz wrong, as zou know nothing about the abreviations of Cyb. Org. or R.O.B.O.T.
Cyrax, Sektor, Smoke are cyborgs. And Jax is too. Why? pretty simple. Cyborg stands for cybernetical Organism. An organism that is cyberne-tically constructed (kybos -greek for movement), and in popular meaning it stands for any living organism what bears artificial elements of himself, or artificial prothesi. Thus, a man with a cardial regulator is a cyborg in our present, it is not a big deal. A cardial regultor is also an implant, as are the Jax Armored Bionic Arm Implants.
Cyrax and Sektor both have human living tissue of their former selves inside kinda like Robocop but to a far more less extent. Cyrax retained both his arms, and probably only his lower appendages and his chest cavity is fully mechanized. As was Smoke, but he is now rather a human organism made out of completely nanotech units (they must not be steel or any metallic material, infact, nanites in theory are not made of metalsin the firt place).
A robot is a construct what is purely mechanical and nonorganic. Transfor-mers or terminators without skin and flesh are essentially robots, even though terms have neuron based computers, but it is still artificial and
not organic.
Sorry, but please look up base technology dictionaries before making wrong conclusions.

why? because i like him!! and because he's pretty cool i dont think he lost any of that in MK:DA although the ghetto look kinda sucked but other than that he's always been a fav of mine so! 10

As for Jax.
Aside from the horrible visual display of the MKDA alt and the loosing of the facial hair, Jax is allright. The Hsu hao conflict brought up some depth about how obedient is he to certain social laws, as the resentment of mur-der, etc...
But aisde from his arms and the Beret, the costumes are bad. I would prefer a real, unstylistical combat uniform with the berett and his original MK2-3 face with MK4s facial hair.
The machine gun must be explained with riot controll shots, or with other stuff, but not even kahn can survive a barrage of a 357.cal Magnum pistol, let alone a submachine gun......final verdict 7.

Jax is a 10/10 he represented for black men. Which i am one.

8/10, His MK:Da alternate really sucked, but i like his moves and fatalaty (altough i hated his MK:DA fatality), Jax 4 me i a very original Character.

Mainly due to his stereotyping in deadly alliance. I absolutely hated his lines and especially his alt.
But he does get some + points for having his own game (debatable whether its good or not) and for having some awesome fatalitys.
