I agree I give her an 8
Amazing character. She needs a story twist like everyone else who keeps getting the same story over and over again, but despite that, she is just one deadly weapon who keeps getting better and better with awesome special moves (9 in total!), excellent fatalities and fun styles.
The original tough female of Mk who kicks everyones ass. Dont mess with Sonya Blade.

My least favorite, I don’t find it believable that she could’ve survived this long.

I like her. Her moves are amazing and I liked her fatalities. Her leg split fatality in MK4 was my favorite.
She is one tough bitch... watch out Kano! She will have your head! Overall 10/10

Sonya is amazing. She's just a hero. She's survived more trauma's and troubles in the last ten years than most could in several life-times. Her design as the sexy-military chick is fantastic and she's never had to resort to a leotard wedged up her back-side. Her story like almost all the characters has been a bit bland for a while but she has got some things other characters don't. Balance. Many characters rely on design and story to get them through the game. Others on their fighting. Sonya doesn't need to rely on either and yet she's got heaps of quality in either. Her relationship with Johnny Cage has never been properly dealt with but I have a feeling it will be soon. As a fighter she is definitley one of the most fun and fluid characters to use. She has loads of different special moves which all rule and her fighting styles suit her perfectly. Her design has gone from military/prisoner to street chick to futuristic military to a more contemporary liutenant and to the more formal, extreme and incredibly sexy General Outfit of MKDA. Her plot needs some fine-tuning but so does everyone elses. At least she hasn't completely lost the plot like others. I've always loved Sonya and lately I'm beginning to notice something in her that I've also saw in Jade, heroic traits. Sonya (although not-canon) lunged at Goro in the opening for MKSM. She journeyed to Outworld to save Cyrax and Kenshi, she jumped at the oppertunity to help Raiden also, she followed Liu Kang into the Netherealm and more. She seems very pure and even though an evil Sonya at the end of MKD for a long time seemed cool to me if anyone out of Sonya, Cage, Kitana, Kung Lao and Jax is going to make it back to normal (good) she seems like the most likely candidate. I personally liked her 'personal vendetta' at the start of MK4 where she hunted every member of the Black Dragon. That really seemed cool and it was a shame that wasn't properly dealt with. Which actually brings me to another point, Sonya doesn't need anyone for her storyline. She can be seperated easily. She didn't even acknowledge Kano in MKDA (probably didn't know) Jax has been pretty useless to her since MK2, she rarely interacts with Cage, and only just started to interact with Kung Lao at the start of MKDA. Thats a good and a bad thing. Its bad that she doesn't really have much ties on the good side, the relationship with Cage is ideal for her story, but its great she is independant from them so she can move on without them. Anyway, I've rambled and my reply is very messy, if you read all that, cheers, if not, can't blame ya. Sonya rules, I know it, you know it, Queve definitley knows it. :D

Id give Shinnok 7/10.
I liked his character storywise, and look wise, but they let him down by being a poor Shang Tsung rip-off n the moves department. he's never been a priminent favourite of mine or anything, but I always thought he deserved another chance, and has a lot of potential. i also like his look in MKA 9which gave him an extra point lol).
