I don't mind Kobra. I liked using him in Deception and I like the concept of his character...a psychotic martial artist who kills people to prove how tough he is...but the "evil Ken" appearence kind of sunk him. I think if they revamped his appearence he'd be better, but I suspect he'll die in Armageddon. I don't mind him, but I won't miss him either.

This dude just rox, another one of my favorite underated characters.

I dislike kobra alot his moves was ok and his styles were ok. Storywise and looking he just suck a completely unorginal character'. 4/10 and i m being generous cause i m in a good mood today.

why does people call a character a Ken ripoff just because he have averagely long blonde hair?
True they have the same stupid haircut but other then that they doesn't share anything.

What I don't get is how people love his specials. They're just generic fireballs.

kobra is filler yet he is one of the top teir characters and he almost ruins the game 1/10 because i can't give him -300/10

4/10 simply because his bland moveset was highly effective.
To me and my friends Kobra seemed more like an adult version of the bad kid from Karate Kid, who's nickname also was Cobra (Ki?). His look and attitude match that identity as well, a bratty, mean-spirited martial arts nut with long, poofy, 80's blond hair.
Won't be weeping to see him go, as I never used him.

I hated Kobra in Deception. Next to Mokap, i'd have to say Kobra is the second worst character in MK history.
Unoriginal idea, crappy specials and only half a storyline.
What can i say, hes just not needed.

An awful waste of time. I'll give him 1.5 extra points just because he isn't Kira, though.

0/10. he was a complete waste and his story could have applied to any other multiple murderer on the planet that has martial arts skill. they couldn't even give him new fight stances or weapons.

I didn't even pay attention to him. I thought he was a horrible character, but the he was like the whole idea of a human fighter so I'll give him that.

Kobra, is another character i don't much care for and one that does not deserve so much hate. Sure he might be a Ken rip off but imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Plus i weren't too bad playing as him in MK:Deception

READ THIS
The Good:
-the overall concept of a down-to-earth martial artist who is gone berserk.
-moveset, aside the generic fireballs.
-a character whos concept rivals that of any original MK character, infact,
he might have came from the MK1 roster in terms of design.
The Bad:
-generic fireballs.
-the highly assocviative face and hair, while I never thought of Ken when I
looked at Kobra I can see why people hate this so much. Anyway, ken is
nowhere near Kobras originality (surfer-jock attitude martial artist).
The Solution:
Kobras weak point is his look and design of face. If for example Kobra would have had dark hair, or rust-red with a Eddie Guerrero facial hair-
style he would had been completely unique. Shame hat Midway haven't
gone through the Ken stuff again to touch it up.
Anyways, he looks like an evil young Chuck Norris. 7/10
