Yeah I reckon thats why theyre missing. I think it also mentions in somoene else's bio that they were going to try to free Liu Kangs allies. (Think it was Ermacs or Lius it said this).

This is one of the many questions I would liked answered in Konquest. I mean it should be a given now about Shang have died at the fight with DK sicne Kang soul is free. If so does this mean Shang and others that have know to have died like Sheeva , Frost,etc are brought back to life and in prisoned? Also as stated above in posts those that didn't make it in Deception such as Sonya, Jax. I am hoping the MK team just didn't put characters in there for show. To me if they should appear in the jail cell that should mean they are alive. egoing the Sonya and Kano inprisonment in MK2. Again I hope the MK team just didn't put characters in there just to have them in there.

It was discovered many weeks ago that quan chi and shang tsung were teleported out of the Shang Tsungs Palace by Raiden before he blew himself up. He did so because he knew Shang and Quan Chi could help earth in the battle against the DK. I think they will be super unlockables.

lol thats whyt there is a jail stage, just so ermac can release them, maybe shao kahn is controlling him or something duh duh duuuuuh

i beg to differ with you on the point that if they arent playable to just put them in there to "put them in there." like what they did with sonya and kano in mk2 i really liked that. It keeps the characters fresh in your mind and it gives the team something to work on for the next installment. Im a story buff and like the backround stories and stuff like that i.e. bios, allies, foes etc. In a different post some1 said something about not liking how they didnt go into detail in naming enemies or whatnot. I think its good in 1 of the pics we see stryker in the cell which looks similar to a goro`s lair. People like reptile are in the konquest mode. If some1 like Jarek or Kai (they said kai was won of lui kangs best friends dont u think he woulda been pissed off when he died and wanted to help take out the da??) turn up in a backround or a story arc on Kano or someone concerning the Blackdragon that would be cool also.
On a side note can some1 explain to me the story of sareena im not to familiar with her :) thanks

O yea i forgot bout that. Im pretty sure than Quan Chi made it out, someone posted the vid in slow motion and u could see he teleported out

that maybe why in the intro that bodies of DA characters are scattered all over the floor.

Not to be rude or anything, but I have the intro video like so many others. I've watched part where Raiden unleashes the blast. I saw no prove or anything that would point to any teleportation. Also I noticed that quan chi runs at the last second as well the last few seconds you can see shang standing right next to Raiden just as Raiden's "bomb" blows up.

The Kenshi bio has Shang Tsung listed as a foe.
I think they are both in it, and I hope Quan Chi has his leg rip fatality back.

so in that case, shao kahn is in it, and shinnok is in it as well, since they have been listed on the characters bio's also.

Where did you guys get the ermac bio, the lui kang bio, and the intro movie?

I'd much rather them be prisoners then dead and get resurected again. Actually theres a high possibility that they are the dks prisoners it does make sense.
