I think its dragon king.. cause you remember in the intro... the dragon came out of no where and shocked quan chi and shang and raiden too... reptile is more likely his servent since shao kahn isnt around to rule...

I truly feel sorry for Shao Khan. I cant see how he will get himself out of this mess.

how could he beg for his life if the DA killed him. i think MK7 will have Shao Kawn because they have intruduced his wife in this game. He reserected her in the past. its time for her to reserect him after the dragon king is dead.

When it said evil hides in the shadows it kept showing Barakas face, I think it was refering to Baraka.

Sindel, by nature, didn't love Shao Kahn, or even remotely like him. She was originally married to King Jerrod I believe...Kahn took her as his wife, against her will, and adopted Sindels daughter...Kitana. Sindel died (I forget how? Did she kill herself or just die? no idea)...but she was then ressurected.


She's not looking to ressurect Kahn...not because he's her ex-husband anyway. I doubt she has the power anyway. Shang was the one who ressurected Sindel...Sindel didn't ressurect herself, lol.

If we believe the MK: D intro at all...Shujinko is somehow responsible for the Dragon Kings return.

Does this mean Dragon king is still using reptiles body, or form, to enable his return? It could be...but as far as I know...I don't believe there's any real, factual canon that states that Reptiles ending DID happen...I don't believe we will know exactly what happened to Reptile, until October 4th.

I think Shao Kahn will use his control over Reptile (His soul has become Onaga's) to control The Dragon King for his bidding. Or maybe he might take Onaga's soul at the end of MKD, maybe leading towards a Shao Kahn return, or a fusion type charatcer half-Onaga, half-Shao Kahn.

I hope the force in the shadows is Shang TSung, though. I explained why in another thread.

all reptiles ending says that the dragon king is using reptiles body,, like a leach... but what i'm really wondering already is... who will be the next master in the next game... once the dragon king is defeated/... anyway.. does anyone know the dragon king's history? how he came to rule and etc. damn.. they should really make a freaking movie series or books or something... and have the official story line of Mortal Kombat.

well to tell u the truth, it was never said that shao kahn was death, they only said he was defeated. so i doubt he is really dead, and yes he could be the evil in the shadows

first off i'd like to state that if anyone remembers reptile in the old mks he was always described hiding in the shadows. but as this is a shao discussion (which i am more than greatful for) what race does khan belong to? he looks like baraka, mixed with goro, when he doesn't have a mask on. by the way...ignore the pic from the movie

Reptile found Kahn's body in his MKDA Konquest story shorty after the emperor's encounter with the DA. Most insiders swear we'll learn the Kahn was actually just beaten into a coma and left in a state that would pass for dead by mortal standards in MKD, as well as what his future role will be. Midway also state at last year's Fight Night that we haven't seen the last of Kahn.

Personally I think Onaga going to be the main boss for at least one more game, with Kahn being demoted to sub-boss, a playable character, or a story element. Or perhaps they'll form their own deadly alliance in MK7, should the Dragon King's power falter.

well, remember that not all the endings on the games happened, and that's on every mk, im just saying what happened on the intro, which we all know did happen

I was convinced too that Reptile was Dragon King, but now that I know that Shujinko is involved in his resurrection, this theory is to be definitively annihilated...
