Its a conspiracy, they did not want us to see! JK but i do think it was wrong they banned him, people have started rumours all the time, and not gotten banned, even if he was lying he was just having a little fun, you guys didnt even warn him. I dont understand it, I am dissapointed in mk5.orgs actions, and my respect for them is not the same.

I agree 12:43, mk5.org's actions were not justified. Besides, he can still join again so whats the point? Go to a public comp, re-register; if he was lying so be it, but the punishment does not fit the crime. I see PLENTY of idiots waste space on this board with posts like, 'I've found the final secret!!! (no joke)' and when you click, it was just a gag. Shouldn't these people also be banned? And exactly how do YOU know so much? Are you like rayrokka? Do you work at Midway, or know what this secret REALLY is and won't tell. The real crime is being committed by these types of people.

Well, i think mk5.org owes us all a response, freedom of speech is a right. As i said, if you ban people like him, you should ban others as well. And if he wasn't lying, then in my opinion, this board doesn't deserve that information. I've been coming to this site since back when we all knew nothing of MKDA, and this by far is the most pointless banning I've ever seen. He said he'd show us in 5 days, couldn't you all have waited until then? The mystery would have been solved. If he was lying, like you say he is, it would have been proven then. Instead you ban him, with no warning, and allow morons on this site to post those joke posts that get on everyone's nerves. As you can see, I have been very considerate in this post, I have not put down the site, I have not sweared at a mod, and I am very justified in my point. All I want is a reason, and proof he was lying. The ONLY proof you can give is if there is a secret and what it is. Let this game of lies end.

My point exactly, mk5.org is communist. It reminds me of someone knowing too much information and being killed for it. I actually enjoyed reading his post and the responses he got from it, dont you think everyone else did too? It is not ordinary for post to get 83 replies. I would rather see people get banned for flaming rather than banned for this type of thing.

I think this action is appropiate, because this guy "tabmok", was telling us so many lies about Noob Saibot on MKDA, and i wasted my time trying to do something very dificult for me (beat the game on max with 20 seconds round)......other members knew from the begining that this was just a stupid lie, but i don't know this guy so...i believed this stupid joke.
This place is made to have fun talking about mk, and the jokes are aceppted, but everything has a limit in my opinion.

i think there is a gameshark code that allows you to mess with the time in arcade mode..but i may be wrong.

but anyway, i agree with what ~crow~ said. there are people running around here that need to be banned and yet they arent. and i mentioned this before, that i think they know what the damn thing is and they just arent telling ao they can have a "big update" to have people come here this summer. and i think that when someone gets close to finding it, their thread gets colsed (and the person gets bribed to shut up, or get banned)and they have an "update" (like the ed's version code thing) and they always say that their "source blah blah blah".
we know that you know and its just a matter of time before we find out. i hope that the person that eventually finds it, puts it on their own web site, and doesnt post it here. that person can pm everyone. they cant bann us all. cause if it werent for us, this site wouldnt even have been here for as long as it has.

Okay, this is ridiculous. People have actually went through the coding of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, and found that there is nothing that we haven't yet seen. This is no conspiracy, and tabmok deserved to be ban because of this rumor and his other unnecessary actions.

You didn't answer me Baraka_MK. Why was he chosen to be banned. He wasn't in the right if he lied, but neither are the others who make posts like his. You haven't banned like this before, why start now? He wasn't even causing a real problem with the members, he wasn't hostile. When I clicked to his post, I didn't see anything any different than those posts I mentioned.

I think it was even more irresponsible to ban someone just because people have decoded the game and found nothing. So basically you are saying he was banned without any real proof he was lying. I think you owe us more of a reason. If you banned him, the spammers that post things like "I found the final secret!" and when you click there, it says inside, "there isn't any final secret.", should also be banned as well. So explain to us all your decision, because I think I can speak for most when I say I don't understand your methods.

Did you hear me say, "I believe Noob is in the game."? No, I didn't say I believed him. I asked you why you chose him after all this time of NOT banning others who do exactly the same thing.

If tabmok has a problem with his ban, he can send in a Ban Review, at which point Jonin01 can make a final determination. I'm staying out of that portion of the argument, other than to say that Baraka_MK's ban reasoning as explained to me was not solely due to creating false rumours.

Rumours by themselves are not enough to warrant a ban. While I stand by my own personal opinion that the version code is the final secret, I personally take the attitude that users should be free to exchange ideas and theories on the final secret or other aspects of all the MK games, including rumours. I will bring this matter up with Jonin01 (as he is in charge of the forum), but for right now I want to make a standing rule that giving out rumours is NOT enough cause for closing/deleting threads. I will make sure that the mods and other staff keep that in mind as well.

Well, that's a fair question, ~Crow~, and the answer is rather simple. You're right, many people create similar false rumors at MK5.org, and many of them go unpunished. But really, his Noob Saibot rumors aren't the only reason why he was banned, in fact, it was merely the final straw. Ever since tabmok stepped foot at MK5.org, he's been causing problems, maybe not with the members, but definitely with the moderators. He's flooded the forums with threads, most of which were pointless or needed to be redirected to other forums, he's caused problems at MK5.org's IRC chatroom, and there was some situation with him impersonating Hyuga or something. When I first read the thread about the Noob Saibot rumors, I was going to just warn tabmok, but after some thought, I realized he didn't deserve another chance, and would likely cause more trouble, so I banned him. Does that clear things up? Be sure to read DArque's reply as well, he had some good points.

Well see, that makes a lot more sense now. If you did have other reasons, than fine. But when you posted this thread, and closed his, you gave me, and other members, the impression you banned him for that reason. I suppose if he had caused real problems elsewhere on this site, he should've been banned. I think I can speak for most everyone when I say thanks for clearing that up a little.
