Well what odes it make you yhink that reiko was killed in MK:DA? i dont see any reason, anyhow Kahn has'nt been dconfirmed as well, but i woudl like to listen to your theory about Reiko being killed.

I'm pretty sure it was confirmed that Shao Kahn lived but barely.

first off it was confirmed her was still alive and recovering in mk tournament edition..( noob eding or begining) it said something about the dealy alliance weaking kahn...not killing him.

The MK Deception preview in Psi Ops is the exact trailer that we have all been seeing (Baraka vs Meleena).

HOWEVER instead of the voice just saying "A sinister force" in the begining, something is said something about someone "obsessed with dominating every realm" (Kahn?) the voiceover that we have been hearing in that net trailer has that one line of audio missing.(Same voice though). Look into it. Maybe it means something. I would start a new topic about the Psi ops trailer, but since all I seem to be spewing is BS I'll just leave it at this.

At the end of MK4/Gold Reiko is seen donning the familiar Kahn armor in a throne room. Maybe Reiko represents the "Trust and Loyalty of an ally" that is mentioned in the trailer. Maybe Reiko was the ally that sacrificed himself to take the fall for Kahn.

Its a good theory, but lets not forget about that interview that someone said the dragon king is going to return and he has been very deceptive, the deception will have something to do with the dragon king, not shao kahn living through the DA attack.

If I'm not mistaken, the MK Team themselves said Reiko's ending never happened didn't they? I swear reading that somewhere.

I also just downloaded the trailer from a different place. It has the "Realm" mention in it as well.

I must have gotten a chopped up version when I originally downloaded it.

But still. Also who or what the hell is that thing that flashes across the screen early in the trailer.

I dont know, but that damn trailer just intrigues me for some reason. Must be because of the history boon and the guys have of using Ads and whatnot to reveal little secrets about the games.

My opinion.

Kahn died and Liu Kang died in Deadly Alliance. Because they would of stopped the Deadly Alliance if they were still alive.

Did you even download the first trailer released? that said obsessed with dominating every realm. The cut and uncut one did.

The new ones just cut it out.

Hey hey! Another Reiko/Kahn thread...great. Yeah...lets add this to the long list of 'Reiko/Kahn Discussions That Just Need to Stop' list

Here's the truth: Reiko is not Shao Kahn. The Deadly Alliance attacked Shao Kahn, not Reiko.

However, Shao Kahn was not killed. He was weakened but is still alive. Reiko's MK4/MKG ending NEVER happened. It was a joke ending intended to add mystery to him.

I think they are talking about the DK when they say dominating every realm but I could be wrong since they keep showing Baraka's face the whole time.

Maybe Baraka is smarter than he led everyone to believe and was serving Shao Kahn only to take his thrown one day for himself and used Mileena to help him all this time. Now Baraka will probably side with the DK until the time is right.

I don't what's going on but Baraka seems to play some importance considering they kept showing him fighting Mileena and his face through out the whole video almost.

i never thought that shao kahn was dead when DA trailer came out, all you saw was his bloody helmet and they would have at least showed his body if he was dead...i mean this is mk when arent they gonna show someone dieing. they showed lui kang and said the words: LUI KANG IS DEAD. they never said that about shao kahn. and shao khan isnt reiko thats what i think. you know what would be funny and a great deception (this is just a joke) if raiden was the bad guy and used the earth fighters to kill off his enemies so he could conqour the realms...that would be priceless!

Well said, I have also observed that unless a game flat out says someone died, like Goro, Motaro, or Sheeva then they didnt die, anytime someone is mentioned to have died there is always the following words preceeding it, apparantly, rumored, and a few other words I cant remember, a few examples is Kabal and Kung Lao. So I think if those words are preceed explaining someone's death then it means they are most likely still alive.

I thinkthe theory is that. Reiko's Mk4 ending shows him sitting in kahns thrown wearing his helmet maybe right after he did that shang and quan were ready they came in whooped his ass then that was the end of that meaning kahn wasn;t there. Meaning he's alive I think this is the theory he's talking about.

I hope Shao Khan is dead. I don't want him back in any game unless they makers of MK are (not that I'm saying they are) going to make their final MK game and have decided to bring back every single character(rumored, glithes,and playable) in every MK game made. That's the only time I want him back.
