Anyway, back to the point. Scorpion is Boon's favorite, and he won't get rid of him as long as there is a Mortal Kombat.

And the reason mister_satan thinks Quan Chi is so good, is because he is crafty. He knew alone he could not overpower and defeat Shao Kahn, so he formed the alliance. But in my opinion, Shang Tsung is every bit as evil and cunning, and since he has been around longer.. he is my favorite of the two.

Shao Kahn was all about power, as Shinnok... well tried to be. But Quan is much more conservative, and persuades people to do his bidding for him. He managed to emerge from MK4 with Shinnok's amulet, and managed to take out Kahn and Kang with Shang Tsung's help. They should both return in MK6, I feel they have to return together if either is to return at all. Because the Dragon King will surely be too much to handle for one of them alone.

Quan Chi mite not be able to "kill" Scorpion, but he can kick his ass in a fight, and he did. Quan Chi's Konquest says he fought Scorpion in front of Shang Tsung's abode and kicked him into the acid. So Quan Chi is BADASS.

in my opinion Quan Chi was always a sneaky/coward type of person. If anything Quan Chi would get his ass handed to him by Scorpion jsut like in the Netherrealm pre-MKDA. Didnt it take Moloch,Drahmin AND Quan chi just to stop Scorpion?

Besides I dont think they will ever get rid of Scorpion(again) first off, they learned there lesson with MK3 secondly hes a tradmark charector. There are two fighters mk NEEDS and that is Scorpion and Sub-Zero.

I thought Scorpion's soul couldn't rest until he's gotten vengence on Quan Chi.

Well that's because in the Netherrealm Scorpion grows stronger while Quan Chi grows weaker. So of course he needed help. But if I remember correctly, Scorpion got his ass handed to him by Quan Chi. Maybe when he returns he'll be more powerful than ever.

Also it says clearly that Scorpion had the upper hand through out the match until Quan Chi hit the Skull fireball then rising star, those were the luck shots.

Thats right. The problem was that Quin Chi framed sub-zero's older brother. I can only picture Quin Chi having a another lacky to deal with scorpion or him begging scorpion to kill him and try to manipulate him( yeah right like that will work.) If scorpion dies he will always return like Raziel until the one responsible for his curse is dead.

thats unlikey to happen there no way quan chi can kill Scorpion. remember Scorpion a ninja spectre so it wont be kill so easly even he does he'll come back because he's a dead man already. they only way scorpion can be stop is that if scorpion can finally kill off quan chi and he soul finally r.i.p . other than that i dont see that happening and plus i dont see eb boon getting rid of he's fav character. mk wont be the same without scorpion and subzero.
