I'm kinda getting bored of the spear move. Maybe his weapon couold be his ropedart w/ uber combos...

Living Spear is very weak. But the Spear as a weapon, something like in MKSM will be cool.

It would be cool to see, but I say stick to the original spear. They could improve the spear head tho. How? Well, after Scorpion throws his spear at the speed it goes, the spear head opens up a bit in three sections and then when the spear head reaches Scorps oppenent, it clamps into the flesh and then Scorpion yells "come here". Victim is pulled towards him.

The creature is not as idiotic as people are making out, and the spear really is quite boring. I'd go with an updated spear, though. Maybe attach it to a chain, rather than a rope, and give the spear head more sinister detail. If any "supernatural" element is added to the move, I'd maybe have the spear burst into flames as Scorpion chucks it (seeing as fire is becoming more and more a part of his character, it seems).

A chained spear does sound cool, but why not make it optional? Like, you could customize your character?

Here's an idea, throw out the alternate costume concept, and have it so the character can be customized, with two or three custom outfits selectable at the select screen!

You could have: flaming skull head Scorpion, in MK:A ninja suit, with a chain spear, and chain-link boots or gauntlets! Or, you could have the standard preset design. Miscellaneous options could include his human face, or him having chains wrapped around his torso and etc. Kind of like KAK, but for standard characters.

I agree the creature is not a stupid idea.

I think they should keep the two separated .
Let the movie version of Scorpion have those hell creatures launch from his hand, but let the Game version continue to have his normal spear.
I love the first movie,
but I think we just need to draw that line that that was the movie and this is the game.
We have allready had enough leak into the game from the movie but again it is not like what leaked in was not a bad thing.

i like the idea of the chain spear, and i like the idea of it actually coming out of his hand, like sub zeros ice does, kinda like spawn....

Maybe the spear could be a gateway to other special moves, so when you impale your opponent you could have a choice of what to do, like the regular pulling the opponent to you, or maybe set the spear on fire, you could yank the spear out causing massive bleeding, wrap the rope around the guy. It's probably too much, but just a thought
