The spear would be cool

I like that idea, I remember in the Soul Calibur games a character named Ivy had a sword that turned into a whip and she spun it around in circles. I could definatley see Scorpion using his spear in a similar fasion.
To balance Scorpion, I'd have Scorpion use his spear as his own seperate weapon style and when the player swtiches to that style he/she would be unable to use Scorpion's spear as a projectile.

Besides u know how in mk:sm he would swing his spear once u upgraded his spear move, wat if he used a ball 'n' chain for a weapon like that ur thoughts?

Maybe have the ninja sword he uses(can't remember the name), and have a normal fighting style, but the normal fighting style has some spear moves, in the normal fighting style.
