Shang Tsung and Shunjinko theory(concernig mk1 tournament)

In the new konquest trailer, you can see shujinko entering Shang's tournament. Shang then says in his mkda custume "I will enjoy consuming your soul". Perhaps Shang Tsung did consume Shujinko's soul, and decided to morph into Shunjinko, therefore thats why Shang looked old during mk1. What do you guys think?

am talking about the trailer on gamespot that contained konquest mode. In one scene there's a conversation between Shang Tsung and Shunjinko.

this forum has already gone to hell... and to what u said. do u really think midway new, that they'll put in a guy named shujinnko 5 episodes later? no, if it was true what u say(chances are 1:10000000000000000000000), then it's all huge luck

I do understand your points dude, ignore the others.
Your theory is valid, and could very well be possible!
Shang from Mk1 does look similar to SHujinko, but I doubt what you said ever happend.

So maybe thats why shang looks old in mk1 because he morphed into shujinko, its just my theory.

Especially since Shang kind of had to have his youth restored in MK2 thus I'm assuming he naturally looked that old.

well they may not have known back then, but maybe they just decided to create the story now. it is a good theory.

i know it's just a theory dude, but i've got a question, if shang tsung steals a sole from an old man, does he turn old too? coz i saw mk:da intro, where he stole liu soul, but he didn't get any younger. confusing...

at the begining of mk2 shao kahn grants shang tsung his youth back, he hadn't morphed into shunjinko he was just old
