Its an interesting idea, but we have to remember, Shang Tsung held the tournament for 500 years, so it could be any of them

Man, all you can do is flame people and spam the hell out of threads. It'll be nice when you get banned.
As for the thread... Interesting theory, but Shangs youth was just restored.

This is an interesting theory, but I think it's not true.
The makers of this game probably only had one design for each character shown in the game. So, I think since Shang Tsung is not playable, they just used his most recent design for the game.
It's just laziness that is the reason he doesn't look old in Konquest. Or lack of time or space.

yea i agree, its a good theory, but i dont think its true. Perhaps Shujinko never had time to participate in any Mortal Kombat tournaments because he was too busy wandering through different realms. Just a thought.
p.s. it is written that the U.S. president must be born in the U.S., we let this slip last election, lets not do it again

Actually they have other or older custumes for some of the fighters which include reptile, sub-zero, and event Shang Tsung in his mk2 custume in the dead pool arena, and also his mk1 custume in one of the stages in mk1 in chess mode, forgot what its called.

Shang's true form is acually a demon.
Shang cosumed many souls and never took on their appearance. It also was never implied that he did.
Also, Shang was said to be old in MK1 due to his lack of souls. I'm sorry but your theory has some major flaws in it to be true.
Another, the MK team was not thinking that far ahead. The MK team makes up things as they go which can be proven by past MK games.

What if he meets Shang Tsung at the tournament BEFORE Shang Tsung lost to Kung Lao.
Or before Shang Tsung was punished by the Elder Gods. Becuase, in the MK comic they showed a young Shang Tsung taking an opponents soul before he got old.
Or I'm full of crap and confused.

For real I never read all the comics only some, am not sure if the comics agree with the games.
