I personally don't think he will be in this game, he had is outing in MKDA and i would say it's time concentrate on someone else or someone new. If he will be in it even as a secret charater then i still dont think he will ba able to transform/morph into someone else.. he may be able to do someone elses move like "Shinnok" could but i would not put money on a fully animated morph.. I dont think it would be possible on these current consoles.

When the topic was brought up when MKDA in production, Boon nixed the idea of Shang's morph, saying that the memory strain it would produce would be too high.

Besides, I don't think he'll be in the game. He would have been revealed by now.

The Liu Kang thing you said was the best Liu Kang idea I have heard yet.To have Shang morph into kang for a fatality...now that would be pretty wicked to see,since he does have his soul.Also,these new systems have more than enough capability to putin morphs,in mktril the morphs were slow,mk4 shinnoks morphs were a bit better.It is possible,they are still pushing these systems higher and higher.Would love to see Shang back with that Kang idea.

Alot of people are missing what i said, I don't mean he can morph like change shape like the first 3 2d games. I meant transform. Hell Mk4 was 3d and lui kang transformed into a dragon did he not? I mean transform like that, using a special effect and I didn't mean transform into everyone during a fight. That's different there's no memory strain when it's for a fatality, because the fatalitiy pauses for a few seconds to load up the scene anyway, If he has a preset transformation for a fatality, he could turn into someone and kill them. Read more carefully next time guys.

I gotcha the first time and the morph fatality would be a good idea...as long as it's someone with about 4 arms and a couple of tiger stripes...I'll be happy
