I would much prefer Quan Chi. However, realistically, it's likely going to be Shang. Though Quan may be a bit more popular than him now... Shang is still the most iconic sorceror from MK.

Like I said before, it wouldn't matter which sorcerer Supes faces he'd own either of them or both because of his super speed.

While Shang morphs he would have already eaten Supermans fist by that time would be either A. dead or B. half way in the ground or thru a wall lol

Of course, what you neglect to take into account is that they mentioned that Superman's powers are decreased to some degree by the alterations in the realms, making him more on the level of someone a Kombatant could take on. Meaning he probably won't have his godly super-speed.

To revise your post, thus: "So AFTER Shang morphs, Superman will pretty much be eating his own fist, and by that time will be either A. on his ass or B. being bombarded by magic or C. both. lol"

I think that Shang Tsung is definitely the more iconic, and though I'd like to see both him and Quan Chi (I prefer Quan), Shang is probably more likely to be in the game.

I know, I didn't neglect it lol. I'm just speaking in terms of Superman vs. either. Their sorcery I'm sure would hurt Supes, I'm just saying his speed wouldn't give Shang an easy time. If Liu Kang can dodge his fireballs, I'm pretty sure it's safe to say Supes could lol. Now if he had Green K, definitely a different story but in most cases Magic only weakens Superman, he can still fight. I know in the game (MK8) everyone from both sides will be balanced some how due to the Magic causing everything to merge. I was speaking from a general perspective

He won't be "as godly" as he normally is but Boon also did say he'll have some flying and speed attacks.....meaning he still has some of his powers left.

even though quan isn't iconic, he'd still be smart enough to take down superman like that other dude said.

and yeah, i'd like to see raiden and superman fight. raiden and his godly powers vs. superman and his godly powers, now that would be a good one.

i think shao kahn and superman would be a good mix they are both freakin tanks im pretty sure shao kahn could take a punch from super man and there have been times where superman has been hurt by just shear strength.

I think they will put Shang Tsung in the roster rather than Quan-Chi. But if the midway team do the game properly they could have both sorcerers in the game but what they will practically be there for is screwing other warriors of mortal kombat therefore making DC have a win in this game perhaps. I mean Quan-Chi has always had this big big rivalry going on with Scorpion it's always possible that Quan Chi will kill him. Same with Shang-Tsung he has always had a rivalry with Liu Kang who will probably be in this game and it's always possible that Tsung will kill Liu Kang and put an end to his mediocrity.
