I would be amazed if they pulled something like that. Just imagine the hours of desperately trying to beat the Dragon King for the first time, and when you land the last blow, gleefully awaiting the end cutscene, Shao Kahn walks out of the shadows "You have been deceived! You will never win!"...could be cool. Though I would feel really cheated out of not have the Dragon King as the boss after 2 years of hype...

I Never Liked Shao Kahn In The Begining, But That Was Cause He Was The Bad Guy, But When He Was Not The Main Bad Guy In 4 and DA, I Started Liking Them More, so i would love to see Shao Kahn, As A Playable Character Or Not, But Either Way, Do You Want Them To Keep Makin Bad Guys Up That They Can Only Be Killed Buy Some Special Stone, So Keep The Bad Guy List Small, And Occasionally Add New Bad Guys

I dont see the DK being Shao Kahn.I surely hope not.But that would be a surprise for sure.

I Think It Would Be Better If Reiko Gets Killed Or Beat Down By Shao Kahn So That It Will Kill All Rumors Of Them Being The Same Person, And The Father Son Theory

yeah i would b deeply saddened if shao kahn had ne real connections with reiko i rly didn't like him in MK4/Gold.

I wish they brought kahn bk he'd have such a brilliant story 2 develop aside from takin over every realm he would b out 4 revenge against both the DA. It would b a lot more interestin than kung lao after shang and scorpion after quan chi.

I highly doubt it because whoopdy crap he betrays baraka whatever. the "ally" refers to a hero character. and the sinister force is the dragon king, who's face do u think that is in the trailer.

Huh? The face in the trailer is Barakas. Everyone knows that by now. I'm not sure what you meant by that though, so I won't jump down your throat or anything.

As for Shao Khan, I miss the guy. I think he should be a main character in the game, but not the big bad villain. I think the DK should be. Just because he's described as the "goro or motaro" character, doesn't mean he won't be the final boss. I think he will be.

I think they should bring back Khan, much weaker, hooded perhaps, trying to "hide in the shadows. Intent on dominating every realm." And it is realm, not round. Round wouldn't makes sense in the context of the story. I'm curious as to how much of a role Baraka will play in this game, as he's the one featured in the trailer. Still, it'd be cool to see Khan come back as a hidden character, all mysterious and less powerful. Just my opinion though.

Khan could be the deception. Who knows, I thought Liu Kang was dead, and now everyone's saying that he's back as a ghost or a zombie. Anythings possible.

Just imagined... As you finally reach the Dragon King, right as the fight starts he unzips his costume from his face going down and out jumps Shao Kahn as the level magically warps to the PIT 3! hahahaha. FATALITY!

The "helmet" on the trailer is a picture of the back of a throne. Alot of rumors and inside info claims Kahn in the intro recover from his only near-death experience with the DA. The duo supposely left his face down in a pool of his own blood leading them, Kano, and Reptile to believe he was dead.

Where do you hear all this stuff about what Boon says? Or are you just pulling it out of your ass? As far as I know, Boon has said NOTHINg about the storyline of MK7. I have not seen where he says Kahn will be in the intro, or will or wont be in this game. We'll find out in either a week or in October.
