I'd rather a new evil mastermind step forth. All hail MK7's end boss...Monk #17 from Shang Tsung's Courtyard!

I'd like Kahn to stay, but only as a playable character. Not the boss again. It's been done, it's old, he needs to evolve/develope, and personally I'm much more interested in seeing him as the dethroned, weakened warlord trying to regain his throne and power from whatever other bad guy emerges.
IMO, I think we should get one more game out of Onaga. I think it'd be a waste to make him a one-gamer after the build up he's gotten.
I also think it's too soon for Raiden or the One Being to be the next boss.

We need to see Onaga back one more time or another new outworld emperor.

i thought Onaga was fuckin cool. he should come back as the boss for next mk but more powerful. maybe playable too.

Onaga Should be back but I expect the Game to be Excellent and I think it would be good if when you beat onaga he gets angry and does somthing that makes him more powerful (cut-scene) and you then have to fight some thing that is beaten by different strategies (like the baraka fight in MKSM) like for one strategy you test your might on onaga and he gets knocked back if you win and you do combos then he gets sick of it and he flies in the air and then the fight mode changes to 1st person mode and you bring him down with fireballs.

The boss situation for MK7 has so many possibilities it's hard to say who could be there. Some think it'll be Raiden, others think Kahn and then you have Onaga still there and the possibility of the One Being being a boss, though I find that unlikely.
As far as choices go, Onaga would probably be the best boss but he'd need to be improved. Kahn has had his day as the MK boss and should stay as a normal, playable character.
As for Raiden, I hate the idea of him being evil and a boss. It is not him and nowhere in his nature. He needs to stay as he always has been.
If a new boss is to grace us, I hope the boss is worthy of being a classic boss and is used well and lives up to the boss standards set by Shao Kahn.

Shao Kahn has potential, BUT NOT as a boss again! Please, its been done way too much already. Let him rest!
Onaga...well, he was so interesting as "The dragon King" in MKDA, but in MKD he is so unoriginal, so typical, a cliché...boring.
I hope he evolves to look better or get a new boss thats worth to fight.

Onaga is a joke, both as a boss and as a character in general. I hope he's dumped in MK7.

I think it should be Raiden. Like if his dark/evil ways simply just took over and killed all gods. That would leave him to be the one true god. He'd be unstoppable, then all the do-gooders (Liu Kang, Kung Lao, etc.) would have to make a choice whether to kill him or not.

THIRD YOUR NOT THINKING OF SHINNOK. raiden and shao kahns father. Except he should be way more stronger or even resurrect Onaga or something. Also bring back shang stung and quan chi.

Shinnok is NOT Kahn's and Raiden's father. Maybe it was in the movie, but NOT in the game. SHinnok really was a terrible boss back in MK 4, so I don;t like to see him back either. I think it'll still be Onaga.

Shinnok was underdeveloped in my opinion, and I would not be opposed to a return in MK7..maybe not as boss...but maybe referenced to...and then given a major overhaul, physically...and in terms of what kind of abilities he brings to the table.
Almost any character can be cool, and "brought back" if their storylines, movesets and appearance have evolved efficiently.

This is a great Onaga drawing imo. Kinda reminds me of the Hell Beast.
Btw, Who says that there has to be only ONE BOSS There could be up to four bosses imo, some sub-bosses and others just bosses. I would love for that to be done.

The One Being or Onaga

Onaga before he was actually seen was one of the biggest hype's in mk history..but when people actually saw him they were really disappointed..I know I was for sure. I think he should be a boss in the next game but only if they revamp his character..Shao Kahn also to return but only as a normal/playable character.
Who is the One Being by the way ? I've never really seen him/her/it mentioned in previous games..Or is Ermac's ending in MKD somehow related to this One Being ?

The One Being is an all-powerful entity who existed before the creation of the realms along with the Elder Gods. The One Being fed off of the Elder Gods which led to them waging a war against it in the timeless void. Some of the Elder Gods created the Kamidogu and used its powers to shatter the One Being's consciousness into the realms. Ermac's ending hints at the One Being.

I want to see a brand new kick ass boss that can do combos, fatalities, bascially what i mean he/she can do the works. I want to see a boss that will kick your ass all over the arena. If you are able to beat him in the first round then he needs to transform into a bigger and badder bitch that's shows no mercy. So creators of MK please give us what we want
