Basically, Queves thread inspired me to write this. And I hope the Kan fans like this. Enjoy.

With the arrival of the Dragon King, Earth realm was in peril once again. He had quickly recovered his army from the Deadly Alliance and had them tortured to death at the hands of the Oni. He had given the vampire race an offer of having Earth as their feeding ground if they would help him, for he would take Outworld and the realm known as Zattera for himself. They accepted and fought with him. Mavado continued his vendetta against Kano at the Kings request.

Scorpion, after learning that Quan Chi was dead, was enraged by the fact that he had not inflicted the fatal blow. So enraged was he, that the powers of hell he possessed were unleashed like never before. In this act, hell flames engulfed the Onis burning them to mere ashes whilst Scorpions own body became a dying flame, eventually blown out by the wind as his soul moved on to be with his family.

The ghost figure of Shao Kahn had appeared to the Earth warriors and aided them in their fight against the Dragon King. Raiden had been skeptical about it at first, but soon grew to trust him even though he was still unsure. Kahn was on an astral plane, between Outworld and hell and was now giving the warriors of Earth information on their enemies’ weaknesses. To Kahn, if he was not to rule, then no evil could! He would not allow it! Or so it would seem – to the Earth warriors.

Kahn had foreseen the future whilst on this plane. And now he had grown strong enough to exist in it. He took on his human form and killed Raiden whilst he was alone. Raiden was helpless against him, as his powers cold not harm that which was not supposed to exist. Kahn also had no power, but he was able to tap into the warrior Kenshi’s power and he used it to impale Raiden with the katana blade that belonged to Kenshi. Thus trapping Raidens soul within the blade.

Returning to the past, the Earth warriors fought on, assuming Raiden has deserted them. They now turned to Kahn for advice and he led them to victory, although they hardly did anything. The Vampires, Oni, Shokan and the major warriors of evil were all defeated in an intense battle. It was a quick battle. Sub-Zero had perished in it. Along with frost, Jade and others who fought for Earth. Those that remained barely did so, alive. The Dragon Medallion, which had enhanced Sub-Zero’s powers, had ultimately over powered him at a most unfortunate time. Sub-Zero’s Kori powers began to freeze him, but they did not stop there. A halo of ice appeared around him and expanded, enveloping everyone on the battlefield. All were frozen, and were either shattered by the increasing intensity of the Medallions powers, or melted by the Suns heat. Others perished here, including Mavado, Nitara, Kano and Noob Saibot.

Only Kung Lao, Kitana, Sonya and several other Earth warriors remained. And now they were to attack the Dragon King himself. For some unknown reason, he had not used his army in the battle. They proceeded to his castle for the final showdown.

The Dragon King stood in front of the Earth warriors, unafraid. He laughed mockingly and glared at them with glee!

‘I see you have defeated my adversaries,’ he said with a grin.

Sonya, Kung Lao and the rest of the Earth warriors stood looking puzzled.

‘Adversaries?’

The warriors of Earth didn’t understand what he meant. The Dragon Kings laugh grew to an almighty peak until it rivaled even the volume of Queen Sindels screams. They then attacked, but were thrown of by his great power. The King laughed even more now. As he continued to laugh, the Kings skin began to peel. Chunks of dry, reptilian flesh fell to the floor and then a blinding light emerged from his body. Only this light was of a dark shade. The light enveloped the Kings body and took on a new form. As suddenly as it had appeared. From head to toe it faded, firstly revealing a metallic ‘V’ on a huge helmet. An armored figure now stood before the now gasping warriors of Earth.

‘You have been deceived!’ Another laugh followed!

‘It cannot be!’ gasped Kitana.

With those words, Kitana’s life ended. Kahn. Kahn used his dark magic to possess her fans and had one impale her whilst the over swiped her head off.

Kung Lao had advanced in this time, but was sent hurtling back by an energy ball. His hat flew off his head and then suddenly dropped, stuck in his face.

Nightwolf proceeded to attack with his magic, but Kahn’s dark magic overpowered Nightwolf, making his own good magic consume him and he was obliterated into nothing.

Queen Sindel had taken to the air and was using her scream to stun Kahn, but he was unaffected and used an energy ball to knock her out of the air. She got up to fight on, but Kahn had cast a spell, one which made her hair wrap around her neck and choke her.

Sonya and Jax fought bravely. Both managed to hit Kahn with fireballs but again, there was no effect. Kahn simply laughed, and grabbed them both. He smacked their skulls together knocking them out cold.

Kenshi has summoned the power of his blade to help him, and unknowingly released Raidens soul. The Thunder God appeared once more and attacked with all his power, but Kahn merely absorbed the attacks, along with Raidens powers. The souls that had been released attacked Kahn, but could do nothing. Kahn then took control of the released souls and they all turned on Kenshi and Raiden and ripped them both apart.

Kahn proceeded to Sonya and Jax and consumed their souls. In doing so, he released another soul. That of an undead warrior. An invincible warrior! The soul vanished, returning to it’s home. Namely, the body of a member of the Dragon Kings army.

Kahn surveyed the death scene. His greatest enemies defeated. Earth in his grasp and none of them alive. Just him. He was now free to rule Earth. Outside, the Earthen sky rained blood. Shao Kahn had won and the Earth now mourned its defeat.

I think the story is cool, but I don't really think raiden would have a soul, he is a deity.

Thanks a lot man. I’m really glad you liked it along with the others.

Thanks bro. I never thought about Raidens attack being effective. I was originally going to have him jump into Kahns body to blow him up from the inside. Kahn would have absorbed his powers this way and spat Raidens body back out. Also, given that I had Kahn fuse his soul with one of the Dragon Kings army members, he was rendered invincible too.

This was for the Kahn fans and I’m glad you liked it. I decided it was time to give him a chance and this time he won.

I basically made an assumption in that matter here. I decided to give Raiden a soul so that the rest of the story could work. I’m not sure myself if he’d actually have one being a deity. Although in game, you can still do the Soul Steal Fatality and special move on him.
Although, that isn’t exactly good proof.

I'm really glad you liked it, bro! You inspired me after all! lol And I guess he could have been stopped. I just wrote it so that he was invincible at the time he needed to be.
