It would be a good fight, but I think Onaga would have the advantage due to his size and weight. Also note, that Onaga has wings, which means he can drop people from certain heights, and he can ram down/glide into people at great speeds.

And then there's his fire which is another plus.....

Well, Shao Kahn has the brains, and Onaga has the brawn, Kahn always thinks of a way around his losses, and converts them to end the way he wants, Onaga's uses his intimidating looks and strength to get what he wants. If someone twice as big as the DK challenged him, Onaga would only have his body on his side, not his brain.

Onaga did NOT take down raiden, quan chi, or shang tsung. while it's true that their attacks were not weakening the dragon king, it was the obvious suicide blast from raiden that took out the three. all the dragon king did was survive.

But the Dragon King wasn't even injured by it, apparently. With their forces combined, they couldn't even bring him down.
Whereas Shang Tsung and Quan Chi managed to kick the ass of a clone of Shao Kahn. Now, he may have been a clone, but I'd think Kahn would want to leave a clone that's at least somewhat powerful in his place so as to prevent someone from simply taking power - which happened anyway. Now you could say that Shao Kahn is very self-assured about being able to get his power back from anyone who kills his clone, and might even have made the clone weak on purpose to lull attackers into a false sense of security. But I think he still wouldn't want to risk that, because he could still end up facing someone very powerful in the end - especially after they officially seized his power, like the Deadly Alliance did. And, in spite of the retcon that made the Shao Kahn they killed a clone, I'd think Tsung and Chi would've noticed if the Kahn clone was unusually weak (Especially Tsung.)

So obviously, I think Onaga would wipe the floor with Kahn. Unfortunately, we never really get much demonstration as to how smart Onaga is (Duping Shujinko doesn't count, because Shujinko would probably listen to any ball of energy saying it's a representive of the Elder Gods.). So it's hard to say what the real limits of Onaga's strength and intelligence are, though I think he would be quite intelligent. I think I recall seeing somewhere in MK:D's Konquest that the Dragon King had a pretty peaceful realm under his rule - as opposed to Shao Kahn's neverending turmoil. Might demonstrate that Onaga's much wiser and efficient.

Oh, and I must point this out too. If Kahn DID use his minions, then so would Onaga. And unlike Kahn, Onaga can resurrect his anytime he wants. grin

I've beaten guys much bigger than me, and tapped guys waayy bigger than me in Jiu-Jitsu. Weight is an advantage but not a big one. Shao Kahn is faster, and let's not forget that Shao Kahn is much bigger than the other human fighters. But projectiles don't work against Onaga.
