Shao Kahn only became Emperor by betraying and deceiving Onaga. Onaga would kick his ass.

in a straight fight, if kahn had his hammer he would win. without it i think he would lose. also the komidogu factor but i wont get into that.

Shao Khan is very strong and we cant under estimate him. When ever he is defeated, he always finds a way back and wins. I say Shao Khan.

do someone really care, Chameleon vs. meat, who would win, Mokap vs. blaze who would win, I could continue with that but what's the point, I think the kamidogu were a lame storyline that never got a point since they were like forgotten in mkA

I think the reason why he brought this up is becuz they where both emperors of outworld(well Shao Khan still is), their enemies and there both huge strong chracters. So its not like hes just bringing up any 2 chracters and asking who would win between them. Plus Shao Khan stole outwirld from him. This is probably tthe most intresting beef of the MK history.

In his MKD ending , he had to use the Aid of Goro and "Poison" Blades to Kill Onaga once again.(Not Saying he actually Killed him or his ending was Canon).

Onaga. Even if Shao had his hammer. He can't do shit to Onaga. The DK would just give him a huge uppercut then rip his head off. Kahn thinks he's such a big tough emporer when he POISONED Onaga instead of killing him in a battle.

Wasnt it Goros blades that poisned Onaga in Shao Khan MKD ending???

I think ur underestimating kahn, ye onaga is strong, and kahn killed him with poison, but kahn was just a weakling when he poisoned him, he was onagas lacky, now its be a few centuries and onaga has been sitting in a coffen and kahn has been training. i think kahn would still have the upper hand.

Well if shao kahn can kick a regular fighter with ease.he sure could kick onagas ass.i mean in mkd. i always kicked his ass very quick.But shao kahnis tough.Did i mension he looks scary

Yes, but I wasn't talking about his MKD ending. I was talking about how Shao Kahn first become Emporer of Outworld.

i hate how people bring up the whole poisoning the dragon king thing... the point is, who has been emporer for the last few thousand years and who has been incubating in a lava chamber waiting for reptile?....uh huh....do the ends justify the means?....is it better to be loved than feared?....meh.

in a fight, i have to say that it would be very close to call. shao kahn has only gotten more brutal over the years so i can't give the dragon king a clear advantage with the whole brute factor. bottom line, i think old kahn could pull out a victory....a hard fought one....but a victory none the less.

From what we know, I think it'll be about even.

But, I wouldn't underestimate Shao Kahn.

He has the power to consume souls like that of Shang Tsung and has a vast knowledge of black magic. Plus, he's almost successfully conquered every realm at one point and he has merged many others.

Also, deception hints he was once like Raiden. Which might mean he was once a realm protector that eventually went mad or a god of something.

But, then again Onaga handled Raiden/Tsung/Quan all at once.

Yes that is true and im sure that there very strong put 2gether but Onaga did take out Raiden Quan Chi and Shang Stung all at once. But than again Shao Khan Kintaro and Goro are stronger than the other 3 and could probaly put up a better fight against Onaga.

That's only because he got the merged kamidogu. Without he would not have been as much of a threat.

I understand that, but this thread is about Shao Kahn vs. Onaga. Not "Shao Kahn and his shokans vs. Onaga".

But yeah , If Shao had Goro and Kintaro Onaga wouldn't stand much of a chance.

Watch the intro on MKD. Shang, Quan, and Raiden couln't stop the Dragon King.

Goro > Shang Tsung
Kintaro > Quan Chi

In Kahn's MKD ending all he needed was Goro and his blades, (didn't matter if they were poisoned or not) and his hammer to take down Onaga. Now if Kahn had Kintaro mixed in with Goro and himself they could take down Onaga easy.

But like I said, this thread is just about Kahn vs. Onaga. If it was just that, Onaga would pwn Kahn.

Onaga would win he is stronger,can fly,breathe fire and rise his undead army if he need any help.

Are you kidding me! Liu-Kang beat Goro and Kintaro. Goro served Shang Tsung! Shang could just take his soul no problem. The Onaga could no0t be harmed by Raiden, Quan, or Shang! Kid I think you have a crush on Shokans or something.

Onaga did NOT take down raiden, quan chi, or shang tsung. while it's true that their attacks were not weakening the dragon king, it was the obvious suicide blast from raiden that took out the three. all the dragon king did was survive.
