guys..........is it me or at the very beginning of the trailer isn't that shao kahn????? i could swear i see a skull mask for a split second.

shao kahn doesnt appear in the trailer..uses quicktime and your arrow keeys and watch it in slow motion.

Either way I don't want a friggin playable boss, it's been like that since MKT for PS1. Then on MK4 to MKDA.

Ya about that skull you say you saw.... I think its Quan Chi's chair that you can unlock in the Krypt that you are seeing. If thats what you are talking about b/c they show that in the trailer and people were mistaking it for a mask.

I like Shao Kahn and hope that he returns in some capacity to MKD. I think there should be some characters that are trying to find something that could return one being to full power again. Whether it be Shinnok, Dragon King or Shao Kahn.

I think it would be great to know that there is somethng out there that the bad guys are trying to get that would revive one of the bosses. The good guys would have to find it and destory its sinister power.

BTW don't give other people's opinions especially if they are wrong.

ur hostility isn't appreciated, nor is ur usage of CAPs.

now , i've made my argument against shao kahn many times. all people have to go against it is "no he rules" "he's the best boss" "he can add so much to the story"

when infact: he doesn't rule, his was killed by quan chi and shang tsung..and before that kitana and the shokans( a race that he used to control) were destorying his kingdom

he's not the best boss, he was too easy and got boring, he's not the worst, but he's not the best. quan chi is.

he wont add much to the story, he will only move the story backwards and show proof that the mk team had no guts and that the mk storyline is just a pile of crap.

the killing of kahn brought much needed change to the mk storyline and to kill him would destory the series and make mkda a waste.

If you listen carefully to the beginning of MK:DA, nowhere does it say that Shao Khan is dead. It just says that Quan Chi and Shang Tsung sprung an attack on him and then you see a bloody helmet fall down the stairs. He is not dead, just weakened. I honestly hope that he is a normal playable character in MK:D. If he is alive, he would be pretty pissed and would want to exact revenge and reclaim his throne. Liu Kang
is dead. They say so in the beginning. A Shao Khan death was never confirmed.....anywhere.

When reptile thought shao kahn was dead, he wanted a new master remember? He probably set out to either look for quan chi or shang tsung, OR possibly do nothing. Thats when he ran into Nitara.

At the time there was nothing Reptile could do to help Kahn. He must of tried to find the 2 that were responsible for kahns slay (a.k.a. quan and tsung).

But remember, it is possible that kahn was just knocked out. But even if he was DEAD, hes dead.....for the time being.

Both Shang Tsung and Quan Chi are cowards. Yes I know they killed Kahn while he was weak. But if Kahn fought either Quan or Shang One-on-One in his weakened form then Kahn would have came out victorious. Heck there was hint that he almost won but in the end the Deadly alliance took the battle and Kahn is presumed dead. But he isn't. If Kahn was at fool strength I can't imagine what would happen to Tsung or Chi. One thing is certain: that both sorcerers are asking for a death wish

If Shang Tsung was actually there when Shao Kahn was being killed, he would have doubtless have taken his soul. If he didn't have it, I doubt he would've left.

U know he's right. There is a skeleton that flashes right after baraka's face. I doubt it is kahn but if someone can view it frame by frame and check it out. The main page's pictures begin after this so i cant see it there.
