He wasn't confirmed to be playable,not part of the main plot so I believe he's not present this time around.

Shinnok will most likely not be in the game but I think he has a role to play in MKD.

I think that Shinnok is one of those characters who are being considered for MK7, so with that said I think that Shinnok's involvement if any will be minimal, but we will get a hint, just in case the MK Team wants to bring him back.

Shinnok is the only character in the history of MK I want to never return. Consider that. I'd rather see Mokap, Stryker, Sonya, Bo' Rai Cho, Blaze and Meat come back than Shinnok. I'd rather see Zebron than Shinnok.
