I've seen the pics of the cartoon. Its backwards. Sekor is a black guy and Cyrax is a white guy. Weird huh!

The cartoons were never true to the Mortal Kombat video game series to begin with anyway. I dont even think we know what Sektor's ethnic yet in the MK games.

Cyrax with no net was like Sonya with no Leg grab, Johnny Cage with no nut punch and Sindel without her hair attacks:

I have no idea why they decided to take away the most original character special moves, etc. Cyrax is my fave robot (though he was better evil) and it was his fatality (helicopter) and net special move that made him amazing for me.
I HATED the way they didnt bring it back. Its amazing and one of the best projectiles out there.

Cyrax is and most likely always will be my favorite MK character. I thought he was great in Deadly Allaince. The meat grinder thing was awesome, but nowhere near as good as the net.
The Hair Fatality is a must for Armageddon. Imagine how awesome it would be with the graphics we have now.

Heck yes...............he was better as a bad guy lol!!!!!!!!!!! But seriously my favorite thing about him was the net. It doesnt feel right using him without it. They have to bring it back!!!!!!!!!

Cyrax's net HAS to be back. He isn't Cyrax without his net. One of the baddest things of MKDA.
Anyone can practice any martial art. Cyrax being black, chinese, jap or caucasian wouldn't change anything.
Even if ninjitsu is an unusual choice for Cyrax, he could have learned it at some point in his life, before becoming Lin Kuei. Remember that characters with one facet are poor in depth. Each and every of them should be able to stand as a main character in their own game. If not, then they are called secondary characters and usually don't play major roles nor last long.

Yes Cyrax should get his net move back. MKDA pissed me off when some character didn't have all their classic moves like Kung Lao, Kitana, Reptile, ect. Cyrax is black now so what. They have to have an ethnicly diverse game and the only black person they have was Jax, then the guy in MKD (forgot his name). I don't see any hispanic MK fighters (if you don't count the Asian looking Movado) so don't be suprised if Sektor is eating a burrito any time soon. Look at all the other fighting games like Tekken 5 and Virtua Fighter, all have a ethnically diverse characters. MK has been criticized for having only 1 black guy and several whites and Asians. Blame it on yourself( the fan) for having the Asian Cyrax turn black because you wanted a ethnically diverse fighting game. MK is an equal opportunity fight game! HAHAHA!

Cyrax definitely needs the net back. That was one of my all time favorite moves, so good to use when you wanted to start a nice combo. Very good move, BRING IT BACK.

Sektor has never been revealed to be black, that was in DOTR, which isn't canon. But anyways, I really want to see the net return. It was one of those great, cheap moves in MKT I loved to used on unsuspecting people.

I belive he should get back.This is because its a classic move and it has the abilitie to frezze the opponite like scorpions spear.Also sense cyrax and scorpion are the same color they should almost have the same abilities in a way.

No they shouldn't.
But Cyrax was going to be Scorpion's cyborg form.

The net gives u a free hit like the spear but doesnt pull the opponent all the way back like the spear, it is a small distance.

Based on the cartoon sektor was black and cyrax was asian but whatever it doesn't matter.
