not in the arcade mode then he is in the konquesst mode.

We really won't know who those "super unlockables" are, until we have the game in our hands....he could be a playable character in the game...we just don't know yet, anything can still be possible.

I think rain would be awesome to have in this game.. his story would easily fit into the story of this game.. Sindel, mileena, kitana, jade... and RAIN. He was Kitanas friend. he has ties to all of them.. I think it would be smart to include him in this game.. just my 2 cents

If there was any time to bring Rain back, it would be now. All the ninjas are back, and it would be cool to have a ninja hat trick, IMO.

Rain better be in it. He could have cool Hari Kiri's & Fatalities (better than Nightwolf's at any rate), & if he had that freeze move he had in MKT, where the opponent moves back, could be good for Death Traps! As long as they unmask him, I'll be happy (if he's in the game). If not, I could hope for Fujin, Reiko, Sareena, Mavado & Sektor!

That move you refer to by the way,you can move the character around when he's frozen just in case you didn't know.It doesn't just move him back.Makes for some nasty juggles.

I think all old characters deserve a comeback.Especially ones who have only appeared once and havent had the chance to shine.Rain had potential then and even more so now imo.Hell i'd like to see rain and stryker both make a comeback for the better.

Rain allied with the Earth warriors in UMK3 and does have ties to Kitana and Sindel, Thus there's every reason in the world i could think of to put Rain in MK:D. He is awesome!

Of course in his ending it left off with it saying that he went on his own to kill Shao Kahn. Granted Shao Kahn is/was still alive which means that he failed, But there has been no word on whether he was killed or just failed and took off... Or never went through with it...

But even then in Reptile's UMK3 story it's said that he killed Jade, Yet Jade is in MK:D. So anything is possible as long as it's not confirmed.
