I agree. Shao Kahn was killed. But i do remember someone said(during fight night) boon said that isn't the last we will see from kahn.

And in my opion, i think Kahn's soul is too powerful for shang tsung to consume. He would be killed in a similar fashion as with kano's mk3 ending(yes i know, the ending didn't happen for those who misunderstand my statement).

I wouldn't be surprised if Scorpion made a return with Shao Kahn. Because we all know that Scorpion was so called destroyed by the soul portal or whatever it is. But he has to go somewhere.

Shao Kahn and Scorpion both have a big beef with Quan chi.

In the MK games, all dying does is give you a cooler storyline for the next game.

Johnny Cage died in MKT, and he came back in MK4; Mileena died in MK2 and she came back in UMK3.

Death didn't stop those two from coming back into the series, so what's to stop the MK Team from bringing back Shao Kahn?

That would be pretty funny.

It was sacastic but I was trying to illustrate how it isn't unusual for people to change sides in order to fight against someone or something. Plus if Shao Kahn fought on the side of good for some reason like he was trying to regain outworld which is why there was an alliace like that it would alllow a whole new vain of betrayal, decit and what not.
