Sigh...why were the most useless questions asked?

Ok first of all I appreciate the MKO staff hosting this "event".
I got a bit excited after seeing the first question about the unlockables thinking it would be an hour of clues of what we can find in the game that we have not found yet. I wasn't expecting secrets to be revealed as that wouldn't be realistic with the game being 3 weeks old.
Then I started to roid rage when I saw questions like the etiquette of putting out a violent game and keeping it away from kids and "what was the most difficult part about the development of MK : D". Oh my 'effin lord??
Why the hell were questions wasted on crap like that, that maybe 1% of the people in the room or less cared about. I thought we were going to pose questions that were being asked by the majority in the forums and submitted to you guys. I thought we were going to attempt to clear up some issues that have been bugging us the last couple weeks (not including the SU's)
You can't tell me more people are concerned about the violence and young kids rather than air glitch in Orderrealm.
TONS of people are wondering about the fighters in the Netherrealm that we can't get to (Johnny Cage, Cyrax, Nitara, etc..).
Why wasn't the issue of the validity of Masterblade's source/clues posted on Gamefaqs brought up? The Kodex and its real use? The code on the bottom of the pages in the Brady Guide?
Like I said I appreciate the opportunity we got to see them chat. But with all the ambiguity and half-ass answers, it was definitely not what I was expecting.
MKO staff I am in no way blaming you, I'm sure Boon and Co. told you that they were not going to give anything way in the slightest because they don't want people to shelve this game after only a month.
Despite all this I still think it's great game...but I'm still pissed!!

I agree. I don't give a flying **** about MK7 right now. I want to know about what I need to know about Deception....ya know, the game we've been killing ourselves over. Not a game that they aren't even developing yet. Jesus.

Exactly! Everyone's been cramming to figure stuff out in Deception and people are now thinking about friendships and customized characters in future MK's? Unbelievable.

They should who ever logs in for fight ask questions.
Not just post them an then hope some one ask them.
Even if its thousnad people they should let
the people do the asking. The whole deal is B.S.

u could have asked SU questions all day and things like that and u wouldnt have gotten any realistic answers, u would have gotten humor that people would have taken seriously and started rumors with so it was as well that they talked about other things...

Hey, everyone had their chance to ask a question at the chat by sending it to MKbot. But in the end the ops of the channel would choose which were asked. I got mine asked through the bot, which was about the timed events and a few that were not discovered yet.

My question is (because I honestly didn't pay much attention to it) did we get to put votes on what questions were the ones that were going to be asked no matter what?
That mature rated game question almost seemed as though it insulted them. And it is true you can only ask so many SU questions before they just up and leave.
Other then the mature rated questions I thought they were all pretty good. Just all in all a very disapointing chat. (unless some of the odd ball posts were actually clues)

I honestly would not have asked Boon and Co. about the SUs more than once or twice...I mean, there is more too the game then SU's, and the questions were talking about MK7 and MK:Shaolin Monks...I can see why they were asked, but they really need to Enjoy MK:D Right now, and focus on it..not on games that wont come out in about 1 or 2 years! Ask the malter, now is time for asking MK:D

Why did they not ask about the village, why can't we go back, he also said that the keys could open doors that are loocked maybe there is a possible way to go back in the village and open the doors that we could not open before remember the gardian who said too shujinko that he could not let him in at this time..... Why waste so much time on konquest mode if evrything in there as no purpose (nija star, staff. etc...) it doesn't make sense, I feel like before fight nigths we had alot of unanswer question but now we have alot more sadsad

Are there any Super Secret characters? No.
Can you unlock any other characters in Puzzle Kombat? No.
Whats left to be asked? How to complete a mission that will only get you more Koins that are not needed? F*ck that! If you can't figure out a mission, keep playing and try to figure it out. If you can't, wait until someone else does. We were basically given the run around on alot of things. Do you think if other questions were asked that we would have not been given the run around? Give me a break. NOBODY will ever be satisfied with anything. Be happy with what you got.
What questions would you have asked though? I'm curious now. People just can't seem to accept that we have more or less conquered this game inside and out. I can see it now..... *fast forward 10yrs to the moron trying to find the "final secret" in MKDA and MKD*.
And for christ sake.... they never even knew about the WQ koffin. O_o
Sorry if I sounded like an ass. I wasn't trying to sound dicky.

TheElderSin; how in the world would people that put all their time and effort into for about a year or more not know about the WQ krypt thing?? I can tell you are a very jaded person tongue hehe
Although most of the questions were good (I.E. Gameplay "infite combo" and Ending questions) a few were just plain silly. I am sure that some of them were just so we could say that we found out about MK7 before anyone else... (Maybe I am a bit jaded)

What sucked was that none of the questions flowed. They were all just prearranged generic questions that weren't based on what they were saying. So they say they haven't even begun work on MK7.....and it's followed up with stuff like "Is Smoke gonna be in!?", "will there be friendships", "can we get downloadable content?" and it's like....they haven't even started on MK7, they JUST SAID THAT, all of these questions should be asked a year from now.
What bugs me is that we have access to John Vogel and nobody ever asks storyline questions. There is a ton of things in the story that is vague or unknown but instead he's asked crap about Smoke in MK7 because someone onstaff is a Smoke fan. We could have figured out more about the kintaro situation or something.

Possible questions that could have been asked:
- Does the monk temple in the first village have any significance?
- How soon should we expect the Frozen Katakombs? tongue
- What types of other secrets haven't we discovered yet?
- Why was the Beetle Lair deathtrap taken out?
- Why didn't the Living Forest stage have a deathtrap?
- Since characters like Tanya, Baraka, Mileena came back in Deception, did they ever think about bringing back Stryker, Fujin, Reiko, and the likes of them?
- Can you fight all characters from MK:DA in Konquest mode too in side missions?
- Is there a secret hidden within' the Nexus in Konquest?
Those are some that I'm sure were sent in but skipped over. I would have loved to see them be answered.

Boring, horrendously boring. How I should've just blurted out something smartass. Sure I would've been booted, sure I most likely would've been reprimanded but hey, it's not like it wouldn't have been any less entertaining than their rather horrible attempts at "humor". Yech.

Not that I REALLY expected a straight answer, but it was worth a shot. I was just happy to see it answered anyway.

I feel let down by the fact that questions not related to Deception were asked far more frequently than ones that were. Did we really need to know about:
MK7
Shaolin Monks
Downloadable content for MK7
Violence in games.
MK developers Xbox Live gamer tags.
I think that the question approval method for the next Fight Night needs to be changed. Here's my idea:
Announce the chat at least 2 weeks early. Now, give all the fans one week to come up with questions, and comments for the team. Use the following week to let the fans vote on which questions should be asked during the chat.
I know that there are hundreds of questions, so maybe they could cut down the choices to the top 50 that are asked the most, and we could vote for the 10 that we want the most.

I agree with the poster and kenshimaster, I mean, what the hell. Half of the Fight Night questions I couldnt care less about, and it was herendiously boring. WHERE WERE ALL THE GOOD QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS!? If even two of the questions that kenshimaster had brought up were in there, then Fight Night would have been 100% better. Come on guys, it could have been sooo much better.

MKO user Born_Again_Vampire would like to know about how you guys feel about your role in the creation of what is a very violent game? Do you feel any social obligations to making less violent games or keeping these games away from kids who are too young?
Seriously?!?!
*Ending Spoiler* MKO user Dion asks with the way Noob-Smoke's ending is laid out, can we expect any Sub-Zero/Noob Saibot rivalry in future MK games.
Wow....
These were by far the lamest questions to ask. If you think about it, why the hell would you ask these? What's the importance or are the answers not obvious enough for you?
