Skab has a black hood and a predominantly black outfit. Noob's name was on the life bar above him in a beta video. This must mean he's Noob Saibot, right?

No, no, no. They call them beta versions for a reason. Moreover, Noob does not wear purple. Noob does not have pointy elf feet. Noob does not have rotting flesh and big scary teeth. Noob is a SHADOW ninja. Skab is on the select screen. Noob is a cool badass, Skab is a quasi-hunchback zombie type.


Kenshi and Ermac both have telekenesis? This must mean Kenshi is Ermac right?

No, no, no. Kenshi is a human (homo sapien). Ermac is a collection of souls (common senseus). Kenshi does not have green glowing eyes, Kenshi is blind. Ermac trained Kenshi. I find it hard to believe Ermac would train himself. They are both separate entities, both individually selectable on the select screen.


Ben/Ken wears a karate suit. He looks kinda sorta like Johnny Cage. He even has his facial model! This must mean he is Johnny Cage, right?

No, no, no!! Johnny cage is not blonde. Cage does not have long hair. Cage usually wears shoes. Cage doesn't wear hoodies. Cage is probably dead (again). I find it hard to believe that they brough Cage back to life (again), gave him a new wardrobe, grew his hair, and died it blonde. Ben is not Johnny Cage. It is a beta version with re-used face models.


Jade and Tanya both have dark skin and similar outfits. That must mean that picture was a picture of Tanya and not Jade right?

No, no, no. Jade is a fan favorite. Boon is bringing back fan favorites, not giving Tanya a green costume in order to trick us into thinking it's another fan favorite. Tanya wears yellow, Jade wears, well, jade. This one is still debatable tho, not enough evidence.


And on a side note, Kai and Stryker suck. People don't like them. They are not fan favorites. Boon is only bringing back fan favorites. They are not coming back. Pretend they are dead. Kai looks like a monkey with Zebra stripes. He moves like a monkey too, has a weak story, and shoots the stereotypical fireballs. Stryker is an overweight riot cop with a goofy first name (Kurtis) a beer gut, and an uninspired blue and white jumpsuit. Stop petitioning. Stop making duplicate threads.

Def. agree with everything there...too many gay threads that say that shit....glad someone is on the same page as me.....especially with the Ben/Cage thing...thats Really startin to piss me off....but ah well let them be wrong when it comes out....but speaking of monkey....maybe if Kai ever returned....since he's from Africa...he could do hta bad ass monkey-style that that dude did in Bloodsport...that would be funny

Good post for the most part, but this point I have to disagree with. The woman in green is most likely Tanya, at least logically.

Just the fact that Jade is in the prison backround makes it unlikely that she is the one in green. I don't think they would put any of the initial 24 in a stage backround if she was playable. That wouldn't make sense. Also, Tanya is a confirmed character. Jade is not. And if she is confirmed, there's no room for her to be in the initial 24 line-up either way. If you look at Jade's skin in the prison, and the green woman's skin, you'll see there is a much different skin tone. And finally, the hair on her head resembles more of Tanya, IMO.

It could be Jade. I even want it to be Jade. But it just isn't likely.

Good theory, but sadly (or not), the black woman with green costume fighting against Kabal this (extraoficial) confirmed confirmed that is TANYA.

Cage has blonde hair. He was barefoot in DA. That is his model.

I don't think it's him, either, but absolutely none of the points you made are true. Plus, he never died if you would actually read his DA storyline, it states that his "deaths" were actually part of his movie and didn't really happen.

Plus, I guarentee that if you were wrong about anything, you WOULDN'T buy us anything--you'd simply dissappear and come back with a new identity, like so many before you. That green outfit is probably on Tanya, though we'll have to wait and see. The fact is we're all just guessing as to all of this. I do agree with the Ermac/Kenshi thing, because if people would actually read the storylines they would know that Ermac taught Kenshi the Telekinetic Slam after Kenshi saved him. It's true, it was in Kenshi's conquest story.

Hey I don;t believe any are the same ppl but some of ur theories suck like the hoody one etc...But oh well Because they have different clothes is not the reason why its not them hell I didn't think Jax would dress like gangsta/Playa lol. But he did big gold chains around his neck baggy clothes now I could say jax doesn't wear those things doesn't mean its true.

Heres how it should go

Skab has rotten flesh and a skull face
Noob is like a shadow he doesn;t have flesh.

Kenshi he's blind and a human there stories explain why there not the same ppl. Plus him and Ermac are in MKD.
Ermac made up of souls taught Kenshi telekenises also in MKD on the select screen like Kenshi.

Ben he's a totally new fighter has long hair and looks way different then cage remember its a video game there faces are gonna be sort of simialar
Johnny cage totally different person has short hair and brown I think.(I don't like Cage so oh well)

Tanya = Jade No One ever thought this ppl just thing instead of it being jade its tanyas alternate costume.

Tanya wears yellow has way different hair then Jade. ALso Jades in jail

Jade wears green in jail but in the IGN picture her and kabal are fighting in a cell. Different hair then Tanya as well.

Raiden, you denounce my theories, but you reiterated many of them yourself in slightly different ways. If you're uncertain as to exactly how, re-read my post, then re-read yours. I will detail this if you wish.

Johnny Cage, you're nickname itself lends me to believe that you are a big fan of Johnny Cage and would embrace any and every theory that would support his return in deception, even the ridiculous comparisons to Ben/Ken. In DA, he had light brown hair, not bright blonde. It also was not long, it was short to mid length. If you need me to post an image I will. Character models being reused seems to be commonplace, seeing as how both the engines for DA and D are nearly the same. I would not confuse reused character models with reused characters though.

Oh, and the offer still stands lol

I think, though, that the green girl is JADE. Early rumors said she had chances of comming back... They would not give the green to Tanya when it always been Jades color. Plus we've all remember that Ugly black and grey dress for second outifit for tanya, and her second color was pink-purple.

So green = Jade

I'm just responding to that quote there. I like Stryker, and I know that there's no hope of his return in this game as a regular, or hidden, character. However, what you wrote there isn't accurate;

1. Nightwolf was almost as hated as Stryker, maybe even on par with him, and he has returned.
2. People wanted Liu Kang to die and not come back, but if the rumors are true, he's come back as a zombie.
3. Bo' Rai Cho wasn't very popular either compared to some of the other new characters in DA, but he's also there.

I don't think that Deception is just bringing back fan favorites, I think it's also bringing back the more hated/boring characters to give them another chance and maybe change the way the fans view them.
But we all know one thing for sure.. Scorpion is the Dragon King.

Sub Zero has also been removed from the game, his model has been replaced by shredder.

You bring up an excellent point... why is Bo Rai Cho coming back? No one liked him. Well I personally loved it when he farted mid-fight. First time it happened I looked over at my brother and was like "Was that you or did he just fart?!" But yes, Bo is an old fat man with a very wrong accent who drinks too much and throws his weight around a bit too much too (not to mention has little control over his bodily gases). So yes, I would put him on the same level as Stryker too.

Li Mei has Kitana's fans right? And she kind of looks like Kitana too! Gasp. Maybe Li Mei is Kitana! If no, maybe they're related somehow!

No, no, no. Li Mei is not Kitana. Fans are fans - they are weapons. Goro could use fans, and he'd still be Goro, just with fans. Who knows? Maybe Li Mei will end up with fans. After all, Mileena has sais, and 2 characters with cais can get old.

I agree on all your points, except for when you say the girl in green is Jade. I do believe it is Tanya. Ppl are basing their assumptions on the color of clothing, but I think that is naive. The MK team is giving characters different colored costumes all around. And also, Boon said there would be alot of deception about the info released about MK. So it makes sense to me that they purposely but Tanya in a green outift, just to get everyones attention, and get ppl buzzing.

Yes I did read it. And yes, I hope to god it's true. I love Jade, she is one of my fav female characters. But I am NOT going to jump to conclusions. Tanya has been officially confirmed, and the only thing we actually heard about Jade was in Sindel's bio, but that can still mean she does not make it into MKD. Remember, alot of past characters were mentioned in the MKDA konquest mode,but were not in MKDA, and that can be the case now. All Im saying is, don't get your hopes up.
