Smoke is confirmed to be cyborg in MKD?

According to theultimateninja he saw a new episode of ElectricPlayground on G4TV. I happened to see the episode also. He is telling the truth for those who don't beleive him. I saw the episode with my own eyes. The guys at G4TV had Boon come onto their show to talk about MKD. I will give you a better explanation of the whole story. Boon said that Kabal is returning and he will have a very different look. He mentioned that the living forest is back as an arena to fight on. He said the progress is coming good, and they are currently working on konquest, by getting all of the characters implemented into the mode. He confirmed Sektor to be returning as a playable fighter. Also, he said that smoke was returning as a cyborg , but his alt will be completely different.

that is a load of shit my friend. if there is a cyber character, it isnt smoke (unless it a bonus costume) as his regular form is smoke its self.

and dont tell me i dont know what im talking about cause ive known this for quite some time.

He didn't say he was a cyborg, he said Smoke was returning after the person asked if any of the old cyborgs were coming back for MKD.

But he might have his cyborg alt. Still, on the player select screen, we saw one cyborg.

If it's true that's awesome! Cyber Smoke was my fav fighter in MK3 + MKT. This answers the 'Who's the cyber ninja on the select screen?' question.
I like the fact that Kabal will be entirely revamped as well...

He isn't confirmed as cyborg. The guy asked "What cyborgs are returning?" Boon answered with "Smoke and Sektor" So he said the cyborgs from the old games are smoke and sektor he never said he was a cyborg still.

Well yeah you guys might be right, but you never know what could happen. Possibly smokes alt will be cyborg.

Wow it's nice to hear the he will be a cyborg, but i ope his alt will not be as cyrax with a weird mix, it's nice as well to know Sektor will be playable ,and the living Forest will ROCK!!!1.Thanx for the news!!!

I just hope that if he is back as a Cyborg he doesn't have the moves that he had in MK3, b/c I think they were more like a Robotic version of Scorpion, but that's just my opinion. smile

Smoke2789, Boon never said he was going to return as a cyborg. He just said Sektor and Smoke are returning. You have no idea what you are talking about.

Hmm Scorpio - we've all heard of the rumors about smoke being actual smoke - but do you have any evidence to prove it - you say that his default outfit is awesome but have you actually seen it/been given details on it?

If I had my way I'd give smoke two outfits:

1.) Complete smoke with some translucent appendages

2.) An entirely new Cyborg outfit (nothing like Cyrax or Sektor

Also;

Sektor should have:

1.) An exact version of his MK3 outfit (very different from MKDA's cyrax)

2.) An upgraded, rehash of his MK3 outfit to show his superiority in the Tekunin clan.

I know we heard the rumors before about Smoke not being entirely ninja or cyborg, and I mentioned and agreed a long time ago that an elemental form would make sense if he's neither of the previous, but that doesn't even make sense anymore. Why would Smoke even have a smoke form anyway? Where the hell would that come from? Now unless he was blessed by the gods or whatnot than I'll buy it, but honestly I think it's more likely that we'll see really badass half-human/half-cyborg main costume with a full cyborg and ninja alts. But I think that a Smoke elemental is nothing more than a fan's dream.
