Scorpion isn't good or evil. He's just got his own mission.

He's not EVIL, he's no angel, but a little below evil

Like PsychoFight said Scorpion is just in his own mission. He doesn't care how he finishes his mission, by aiding with the Earth Warriors or with the Dragon King, He'll get rid of anyone in his way.

And even though Scorpion swore not to harm Sub-Zero again, Scorpion will likely break that oath if Sub-Zero stands in the way of whatever mission Scorpion is on. That very well could have happened in MKDA, because Sub-Zero also had a beef with Quan Chi, even though Sub-Zero chose to fight Quan Chi and Shang Tsung for the best intrests of Earth. And like Scorpion, Sub-Zero also lost a family member because of Quan Chi, even though Scorpion was the one who physically killed his brother.

He Is evil, he's just not aligned with anyone. He wears skulls on his outfit (MK4 and DA), and he's from the netherealm, which is hell. That's where evil people go.

Again, despite what people around here say, he IS evil, he just doesn't align himself with the likes of Quan Chi and Shang Tsung, because, as they already said, he is on his own mission. (Which is to be in almost every MK game without much of a purpose. lol j/k)

Agreed! If it came down to anyone else killing Quan, Scorpion would go berserk! And he would defintely harm Sub-Zero if Sub-Zero ever came close to doing it. This is why Scorpion remains neutral. He's in it for himself and he will harm anyone that gets in his way, whether good or evil.

Yes, he is inherently evil. He is from the pits of Hell! However, unlike Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, he seeks only vengeance. His quest for vengeance leads him to strike down anyone who gets in the way of it, good or evil. And as of the end of MK4, his target of revenge is one of the most evil SOBs in the MK series. The reason he remains neutral is because he has a tendency of aiding either side, even though he holds allegiance to no one.

I personally think that Scorpion was origionally good. He lived in peace with his family. For whatever reason, Scorpion's (was his former name was hanzo?) family was killed by an unknown assailant. Out of hatred and a taste for revenge, he was resurrected in hell and set out on a quest for vengence. I think Scorpion was a good guy until Quan Chi killed his family, which drained all the sanity out of Scorpion.

Scorpion Is Neither Good Nor Evil. He Is In It FOr Himself So He Can Fufill Whatever Duty He Dint Finsih With his Death. I Think Would Be Sweet However For Him And Sub To Go Toe To Toe Again. This "Respect" They Have For Each Other Is Bogus. They Should Of Had It Out Earlier. I Agree With Whoever Said /Taht Scorpion Would Go Through With Killing Anybody In His Way. He Grants no Mercy To Anyone.

In the game, Sub zero's profile states that he found the origins of his mastery of Cold temperatures. Mabey this has something to do with the Elder gods and Quan chi...which is why mabey it states that Sub zero is Scorpions enemie.

It's always possible the Elder God's and Scorpion betray the good people for whatever reason, so that the Elder God's are the real enemy and Scorpion's just a by-product. Or something. :D

By Sub-Zero.... it's possible he meant Sub from MK1.

He is made from an evil place. But his character is neutral. so you can say he is and isn't evil at once.

that is a good point bronzie. how many times are the elder gods gonna put up with defending an invasion of EarthRealm. What if this time the throw in the towel and say F'k it we'll just let it get overrun. maybe scorpion is Requested to take out the major Earth Warriors and with Sub-Zero thinking he has this "Friendship or Respect" he will not expect it from Scorpion to betray that trust.

Good Question. Scorpians mission is simply put this way: Avenge the death of his family by killing Quan Chi.
