The article posted today officially states that Smoke will be a cyber ninja! Anyone who thought he would be anything else is pretty stupid anyway since his ending in trilogy said he was trapped in the robot body forever
He isn't going to be cyber

then what the hell do you call this?

While on G4's show, "Electric Play", Ed Boon has confirmed 3 new characters (Sektor, SMOKE, and Kabal), and 1 new arena (The Living Forest). Kabal's look will be completely revamped, and the TWO CYBER-NINJAS will sport quite a different look from Deadly Alliance's Cyrax.

It means Smoke, who was a cyber-ninja in MK3, will return, sporting an entirely new look completely different from Cyrax.

I'm not flaming you, but you do know there are a bunch of threads about this already?

He said they were returning cyber ninjas. So he means, they WERE cyber ninjas. They could be anything now. Although I'm pretty sure Sektor is gonna be cyber.

I saw it too. It meant they were Cyborgs, returning as Revamped Characters. Fuck, for all we know, Sektor could come back as a God-damn Battle tank. Just wait until the God damn game comes out or we see screens of them to wave your proof and "FLAME ME" flag in the air.

Not to be stuck up, but I see that some of the people who claim to "Know what Boon is saying" have rather low visit numbers. Give "the insiders" a month, and you will realize what they say is true.

Smoke will not be Cyber in his main form. However, that doesn't rule out alternate costumes.

I'm just happy Smoke is back. I don't care what he looks like.
As long as his moves and persona are intact I'll be fine. I still want MKII Smoke though. They changed him too fast. Plus ,WTF was up with the UMK3 ninja suits?

I agree with you completely. Smoke will own, just like Sektor. And I like the Cyber Ninjas, so I will be happy either way =D
And if Smoke is in a different form, then that will kick ass to.
