the event is tomorrow night, but midway has an embargo on info being released before the 18th

then ed should add an extra day to his little cowntdown, cause we wont get "answers" on the 17th.

I suspect that on Noob.com there will be some sort of message and a picture/logo from Mortal Kombat 8 when it gets to Zero.

I doubt that he would reveal anything more than that and save the rest for the 18th.

I mentioned before. We might get a title, release date, and new MK logo-- even that much is a good enough start for me. I can wait another day for a teaser or whatever.

Midway has already give trailers and videos to many sites as gametrailers and IGN.
It has given new videos and a new release date (Semptermber 2008) for TNA Impact ( a great game in my opinion), and a trailer for Wheelman. The plan is going as we expected. Tomorrow we definately see a trailer of the new MK and as I can judge from the previous titles I refered to, graphicaly the game is going to rock! Midway cannot make great visuals for new titles and not include them in her best creation.

Just curious JRF, but if there is a full embargo until the 18th, than why does the countdown on Noob.com end fairly early on the 17th (3pm central time).

Do you know what's going to happen to Noob.com when the clock ticks down to zero?

I'm not sure but I'd be willing to at least guess that perhaps the reason is because Midway wants to break the news first perhaps trough a trailer or something? Then the next day the embargo is lifted and voila.

Of course I'm speculating...
