95% of all fans believe Stryker was the biggest joke in Mortal Kombat. Bringing him back would be a HUGE mistake.

Johnny Cage, on the other hand, is probably just taking a break for Midway to develop a better story for him. Even his fans agree that his story sucks.

I can't stand Johnny Cage's anymore. Who the hell does movie when hell breaks loose?? Enough with all that Holywood crap!!

As for Stryker, I think they can make a nice story for him and change his look to a really cool SWAT guy with the outfit and all.

Again ^_^ As for Stryker I hate that guy he was too plain. Maybey if he had Riot armor and different moves .Like charge at them and knock em on their ass with his riot shield ,or use mace for a stun move .You know ,stuff that fits his character.

I would gladly see Johnny Cage sit this out and see a new and improved Stryker that amazes everyone with just how good he is in 3D. The S.W.A.T. outfit is a great idea.

I think Cage will be in this game. He can be a cheap character to fight with. They should make him have one fatality that uses a shadow move like his kick or something. The other fatality should be his one from MK 1.
As for Striker, eh, if he somehow returns, get rid of that stupid gun move and make him not look so "Kmart" looking. His clothes were not cop material. At least have him wear a Swat uniform or something. His fatalites can involve a gun or two.
Striker wasn't one the favorites, so I wouldn't miss him if he wasn't in the game.

Cage: Get's sued by the Van Damme estate for copyright infringement and by a female fan who claimed he mollested her 12-year-old kid sister while signing autographs, loses both cases, goes broke and spends rest of life in jail being someone's bitch.

Stryker: Brings Cage in, then goes home and eats doughnuts.

As for Cage, I think he should die for good...seriously. If someone dies that much they aren't being much help to the kombatants for Earth are they? ^_~
As for Stryker, I, Like basically everyone, anywhere...didn't really like him much, But if they took out Jax, he'd have the potential to be a real badass cop...I'm talkin' LAPD badass(civilian beatings and all). Hook him up with some kevlar, short hair...spiky-ish maybe...weapon could be a baton/riot shield as stated earlier, and he could have some good fatalities...The MK team just needs to apply themselves and they could bring him back...*I think it's concept art time*

Johnny Cage, do with him what you will, I could care less. Stryker? If he comes back into any Mortal Kombat game, then shame on Boon for letting it happen and shame on anyone who promoted it. He was one of the reasons that I hated MK3 so much. That is MK3 normal, not ultimate

Cage I like, not that muchm, but just enough to accept him in deception, for the fact that so many classic powerful faces are missing!

Strykler also needs to return, and improved. If they did it with some liek tanya, who people really hated it, i think they can with him.

Cage needs a brake to return with a better story, but still, I think he is one of the best.

I wouldn't mind seeing both of the return in MK7.

Perhaps Stryker gets recruited by Sonya to join her team, since he does have previous experience dealing with Outworld. New look, new job, updated story.

Johnny finally gets a clue and starts his own fighting school. With his fame, it should be easy to get the brightest young martial arts students in the USA. Basically a western version of the Kung Lao's school, only without all the relegious (sp?) stuff. Then when MK7 shows up, him and his best student can take their place among Earth's defenders.

as for him being in mk:d i think it would be good to see him, after all boon did say that this was going to have alot of MK3 characters in it, or something along those lines..

I agree with your idea. I think Cage would be more serious if he were to train younger warriors his style of Martial Arts. Ben, who is in Deception might be one of Cage's students who may be ignorant like Cage himself. Ben could look up to Raiden and when he finds out that the Thunder God returns to Outworld, Ben would leave Johnny Cage in Earth Realm and follow Raiden and the other warriors to battle the Dragon King. Johnny Cage could be a hidden character, Johnny Cage's reason for fighting in Deception is to rescue Ben from the danger that is in Outworld.

Stryker was a plain character that was not very popular with the fans. Time has passed, and it has been a long time since we had seen this character. I too like the idea of Stryker joining Sonya's ranks in the Special Forces. In Deadly Alliance alot of the members were killed by Hsu Hao when he planted the miniature nuclear bomb in their base. Stryker could have left his old rank and be promoted to S.W.A.T after fighting Shao Kahn's army when Outworld invaded Earth Realm.

The only way i want Cage back, is if they did an overhaul him. Change a few moves and keep the sig (nut punch) and some wicked one that will effect the female too. Make him mean!!!

Stryker has potential. I agree they need to get him into a SWAT personna and upgrade his specials and weapons. Even though i am more game than story, he did have the lamest one off all and i believe thats why most hate him. Give him a good story and something to fight for, and most should change their mind. IMO

I'll be honest here. I don't like neither of them but I'll admit that Stryker can make an impact if used right. The S.W.A.T. outfit is an excellent idea its better than his gay rent-a-cop outfit from MK3. His fatality shout invole something more bigger than a itty-bitty pistol though his Hari-Kari(spelling?) could that he pointed his pistol to his head and shoots himself.

Cage is a must. Awesome character, powerful moves. Story improvement??? yes, but is he bad??? no.

Stryker could make one big impact if he returned in an awesome updated way.

i don't like stryker, his modern style eg grenades didn't suit the fantasy world of Mortal Kombat, the only reason i don't have Jax and Sonja in the same category is because of the whole outworld investigation agency thing, maybe if he joined them he'd fit in more, but i don't like Jax and Sonja anymore, i think the story should focus more on the Lin Kuei and white lotus society as the main clans fighting for Earthrealm.

Johnny Cage is one of those "love him or hate him" guys. But, I think there will always be a place for him in the series, even if he misses a game now and again. Johnny still has a very strong fanbase, built up over the years (he's a favourite of mine) the MK team obviously like him. He's the light relief of the series (without being shit like Mokap), he shouldn't be too serious like another Kung Lao, but I admit his story does need a new twist.

As for Stryker, I really like him, most people disagree with me. As one of MK's least popular characters, we've probably seen the last of him, except in Konquest cameos. Shame really, all he needs is a new outfit (SWAT type body armour), I like his weapons, and the fact he's an ordinary guy who ended up forced to help defend Earth.

I really enjoy the idea of a possible stryker return, I love his name, kurtis stryker, and the swat outfit is a pretty cool idea. He could be a badass...

he could be like one of those bad cops, with the cigarre in the mouth thing, his fatality could be like the russian roullet. He could pull his revolver type gun out, saying to the dizzy adversary "let's try out your luck" rolls that thing that has individual slots for bullets(I dont know the name in english), closes it aims for the oponnent head then shots the guy in the head and says "badluck this time asshole" and walks away smoking his cigar with style

Johnny's in the the mk3 movie. It'd be kinda wierd for them to leave him out of deception.

I agree they should bring back kurtis Stryker and Johnny. And thats a good idea with the whole SWAT team thing for Stryker.

Seems to me as though the majority want an updated SWAT Kurtis Stryker rather than Johnny Cage.

Johnny Cage is HORRIBLE. Sub-Zero should do his Head Rip and Shatter on Cage and Cage would never come back. Stryker would be interesting with a SWAT look.
