Keep in mind the development of the new the PS3's are no longer made for backwards compatibility. This is a fact and if you need a reference I will find it. However, I would not let this affect me whether I wanted to purchase a PS3 or not. I am thinking about buying one around February.

I prefer Wii over all of them because the quality of games such as Mario galaxy, metroid, zelda, and smash bros coming.

I have no idea what it available for the X-Box 360. For the PS3, for example, you may buy 15 dollar adapters and use PS2 controllers or arcade sticks. Somehow I'd imagine X-Box 360 supporting the same thing but I really don't know.

Honestly, the Wii doesn't have anything that interests me at all. Most of its games seem to be party games that cater to younger audiences.

The X-Box 360 has at least some cool FPS that I am very eager to play. I played a great FPS, whose name I can't recall right now, at my friend's place a few weeks ago. That shit was truly amazing. It was fun and looked impressive graphically.

Nothing beats playing your PS3 on an HD TV and setting it on ridiculous high resolution settings, though. It is definitely over-priced, however.

Was it call of duty 4? That game has me hooked and i don't even have a 360! I go to my friends house and play it after he goes to sleep till late in the am. He gets up for work early so he goes to sleep early.

COD4 is the BEST FPS i have ever played. hands down. Halo has nothing on this.

I need to sell my PAL 360 and get a new NTSC 360 for when I relocate. I'll be looking at a PS3 after xmas when the price has dropped.

I'll check out COD4. It looks good but I really wanna play some racing games that PS3 has to offer. I love racing games. + I wanna see the HD quality of PS3 on a super wide screen (I'm excited!).

What are the notable exclusives for 360 and PS3? I thought I've seen that there aren't TOO many "exclusives" for either. I know Gears of War for example is Xbox360, but that's about all I know.

I have heard very good things about assassins creed. I really want to try it out. As for GOW...Not my favorite. Too unrealistic. Fun for a while but like halo, it bores me fast.

I like COD4 because of its realism. If i was in Iraq, that is what i would expect it to be like. The only unrealistic thing is you gain your health back after time like halo. But you die with a quick burst of fire like in real life.

People that switch from halo to this game usually get killed very fast! this is no run/gun game. Strategy is very important.

I read some negative reviews of Assassin's Creed. I'm dissapointed, that game looks cool as hell. I'll probably rent it at some time, but after reading the reviews I am in no rush.

Renting is probably the best option for most of these games. So many games are release you can't possibly own them all.

WTF is all the hate on fighters on 360? You guys are playing MK games, but DOA4 and VF5, games that require half circles DB's and all that play just fine.
