Something I wasnt planning on being irritated about in this game was the timing for some combos. Interesting how I, all of a sudden, am.

Maybe I just need to take some time to get used to it, but the timing for some juggles is way off now. It doesn't seem natural anymore for some of them. Take Raiden for example:
In MKDA 1,1,2,b+2,b+2, shocking touch, was a snap to pull and I could hit it every time. Very easy combo to do.
Now, in MKD, trying to do that same combo is a chore. First off, once you start using the b+2 in the combo, when you go for the second b+2 sometimes you overshoot the guy and go under him when he's up in the air. You can thank the sped up gameplay (walking) for that. It's like you need to take a step back before doing b+2 again so it connects. If you're able to get b+2 to hit then doing the shocking touch is a problem. When you're tapping f, f to initiate the move, you're tapping yourself right underneath the guy once he's juggled. Again, walking underneath the dude.
"Sigh", I guess I'll just have to discover new combos now. . sad

Never really played as raiden much I can't REALLY say any thing about that move, but perhaps the desginers thought it was cheap, and thus got rid of it, as simple as that.
