Soul Calibur (worldwide) online
I got myself a copy of SC4 today...and I have to say I like it so far!
The motions are fluid, a lot of different characters, great combo possibilities and best of all: Online play!
So, the reason why I am posting this thread here is that I want to know which one of the better mk players is diggin SC4 as well or planning to get into it.
I heard the online play is worldwide?? image PAL vs NTSC!
The few matches I had earlier were very different from one another. Some were with almost no lag, some with a lot!! I noticed that getting a match started is not as easy as in MKA and there is no lobby. Plus, getting a special move or 'programmed' combo done by pressing 2 or 3 buttons at a time is a bit tricky. At least totally different than MK. I think I'll need quite some time to adjust here.
And how the hell is it possible that some ppl already have like rank 170+?? Are they all japanese??

i dont understand that time.. so uhh since you seem to know how time zones go. i like in the USA EST zone. i can make it online at 11pm-2am. if your in the UK i think thats like 4am-7am
Got the game and i like it so far. (only its not easy to get in an online game that isnt full. A bit o patience can be usefull here)

Got this game yesterday, its great IMO.

I played some online amtches today, but the unranked ones, jsut to see what it is like. ive never played a fighter online before, it was great.
I think the server is worldwide, I think I was playing a Japanese person earlier on (well the characters in his username and custom-character name were japanese characters).
What characters do you guys use? Do you use a few characters lots, or vary it between a large number?

Your Maxi will come out great I am sure of that.
That cinema option is great! It is cool to be able to watch other players fight eachother. This way ppl can learn a lot, plus it is interesting to see how 2 ppl fight eachother while you just fought them or are going to fight.
Plus, this customizing your character is funny too. Personally, I dont have time for that kind of stuff, cause I just want to get good at the game with the normal characters, but some ppl just design hilarious characters. I was literally ROFL some times....

Yea man, Tight games yesterday. Real amateuristic, but fun.

The possibility to see ur opponents fight is a cool feature indeed. I saw u whiping that bastards "little kak with big hammer" close but good.
