Friendships would be cool, as long as they were more like MKII and less like MK3.
And I agree that it's definitely one of the things that gives MKII its staying power.

Friendship's would be awesome.

I could forgive the return of friendships, but not babalities. Animalities would be trying a little hard, they didnt even make sense anyway.

It was a magazine article in which the writer jokingly said something about a "loverality"...as a joke...as in...humour...which some kids didn't get, so they started to talk about it in a serious context, which is how the whole thing came about.
So not only did boon not say it, but it was never seriously hinted at, at all.

I would like to see Friendships back...But they should be similar to those in MK2 not in MK3...

Not much new is learned from the article that we haven't already covered, save for a brief mention that Ed has hinted around about Friendships and Babalities possibly returning, but the biggest revelation is what is called a "Lover Fatality".
Whether this comes to fruition or not, we will have to see, but in the meantime, here is an excerpt discussing it in the Official X-box Magazine. From the article: Longtime fans will also remember Babality and Friendship finishers. As for their inclusion in the game, series co-creator Ed Boon has hinted at the idea, but perhaps he has something more devious up his sleeve. Can you say Lover Fatality? Neither can we.

Hell yeah, I loved Friendships. They were funny. It would be cool if they made a comeback.
Babalities really sucked. Keep them out of MK.
I don't know why everyone hates Animalities. Some of them were good. Like Scorpion's MK4 Animality where he turns into a giant scorpion and stings the opponent's torso off...No wait, that counted as a Fatality...In the end, Liu Kang's Dragon Animality and Scorpion's Giant Scorpion Animality are the only ones that really need to return.
But admit it, it was cool when Nightwolf turned into a real-live wolf. It makes sense since he has all these mystic shamanic powers.

No thanks. I didn't like them. Some were funny but they were incredibly boring afterwards.

They sould return. Even the old character could get their old skool ones back but improoved. Everyone try to make up some for the characters.
