It's always just been a weapon in the game. In the movie for some stupid reason they decided to make it some weird creature that comes out of his hand. I thought it was dumb. But in the game, it's just a weapon he uses. Like in MKDA, you can see it hanging off his belt.

They already made up their mind: it's a spear.

Personally, I think the games should stay as far away from the movies as possible. Lots of bad ideas emerged from the movies and TV shows.

ACTUALLY, the serpent spear OF the MOVIES IS SO MUCH BETTER THEN THE ONE OF THE GAMES!!!!

This is MY opinion.

The one of the movies are awesome, I love the way it comes out FROM INSIDE HIS hand and how its alive.

They should use that for a fatality or something, its so much better.

i agree.if the serent spear comes back i would like it as a fataltie it should be cool to watch

in the comics it was a spiky ball and chain. like a mace.it was crappy compared to the movie thing that lived in his hand or wutever. that rocked.anyway all the renders from decpetion that have scorpion in them so far are all the same model from da. so youll have to wait to see if they change it, which they probably wont.

That is true that the spear is a just a weapon, but in some MKDA renders of Scorp, it shows the rope coming out of the palm of his hand. What the hell? I guess the MK team cant make up their minds.

in the renders it clearly looks as if it comes from his sleave or something

only the fucked up movies said its a living creature..and as we all know the movies were way off.

That was magazine cover art if I'm not mistaken. Not from the MK development team.

I also like the serpent way better. IMO, something living inside his hands makes him seem more intimidating and powerful. Afterall, hes from the neatherealm, he should have special kind of weird powers like that.

Spear is good to, but IMO serpent is better.

It was on a magazine cover but it was official.

i remember seeing the artwork of the spear coming out of his hand. I think that the spear is better. If they did the serpent thing it would be fatality. But i don't think they should. I usually just like to think that it was kinda like some mechanism attached to the underside of his gauntlet. Would explain how smoke did it to. Course i don't know why a spear would be placed. Seems like the place for a grappling hook.

I always thought the spear came out of the palm of his hand. I never thought that he pulled it off his back and threw it. The way he throws it makes it look like it comes out of his hand cause he just pushes his hand out and it flies out, he doesnt do a throwing motion.

if smoke is in the game, then he should have a spear that tangles them, then when he pulls they start spinning like kabals spin.to make his different from scorp.

also serpent is better, i would love for it to have a nasty firecracker scream when it launches out. to kinda startle us when we first use it LOL.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, that nasty kinda scream. also maybe the serpennt could eat the victims head for a fataltiy, and maybe his serpent spear could be like sektors homing missles this time, meaning when u launch the serpent it will follow oopponent, only way to avoid it is to block, so if u jump in game serpent will launch upwards, if u opponent sidesteps, then serpent will come sideways and still catch u, thatwould make serpent scary. either way doesnt bother me spear still owns either way.

The serpent is so much better.
