I agree with sub-scorpion! But I want the special edition to COME OUT IN EUROPE, because MKD and MKA Collectors' editions didn't come out in europe and MKSM didn't have MK2 in europe!! >[

Cool. I didn't realize there were special people out there that got to play it a year before the first MK was released in arcades. Go you!

1992*

And I hope they do have a special edition with something more than just an old Arcade MK game that still has the same glitches in it.

I would prefer a DVD collection of MK1-MKG, not only with Arcade perfect sound and graphics, but also single player featuers (such as hidden characters, cheats, etc. etc.) That means an arcade perfect MK Trilogy too... none of that shitty graphics grap I had to deal with. All these game should also be able to have online play.

I would also like them to have a media section with Koncept Art and possibly hold another Fan Art competition where all top entries are shown and the winner gets a free Special Edition of MKvsDC.

They should also include all the official MK comics, and maybe new comics that pertain to MKvsDC.

They should really make the special edition something SPECIAL.

Trilogy was never in the arcades. Consoles and PC only.

The PC version would be the best Trilogy we could ever get. There not going to redo it and fix the game, or complete the finishing moves, wont ever happen. But if we got a PC version with ONLINE play, that would be awesome.

What Im hoping for the most though is MK4 arcade with Online play.

No shit. I'm talking about the fact that I want it to have the crisp graphics from the arcade. None of that toned-down crap. There's no reason to reduce the quality of the graphics now that it will be on blu-ray.

It wouldn't hurt. It's not like it'd take THAT much effort. I don't care if the Special Edition gets a delayed release date. If that's what comes with it (provided its more than just MKT - as in everything I mentioned in my previous post), I'd wait the extra 3 months or whatever time it would take to improve the graphics and add a few more animations here and there.

Don't get fucking wise, dude. You're the one who used the phrase "arcade perfect" for a game that was never in the arcades. How the fuck do we know what you meant?

If its common knowledge MKT never made it to arcades, you should be able to figure it out. What the fuck is with your bad attitude?
You see the phrase "no shit" and you react like I just put my thumb up your ass.

So, I guess we should all know exactly what every other person on this forum knows, right? Ok, I'll write that down and start PM'ing people now.

While I'd totally love to see all this in a special edition boxset, I highly doubt it'll ever happen. It makes no commercial sense for Midway to put everything MK into one package when they can make more money spreading it over various 'special edition' boxsets. =/

Mortal Kombat Gold version with Online play would be sweet too, and that version has better graphics than the arcade mk4 version, so it would be pretty kool.

Im also still waiting for "the grid" to come to home systems and be able to be played online.

Bad news is this...MKD and MKA premuim editions that had a klassic MK game didn't have online play. So more than likely if MKvsDC premium edition comes with MKT or MK4 it probably wont have Online play. So In that case I will care nothing about it, as I have MKT on the PC, and MK4 arcade and MKGold on sega dreamcast. No reason to wait longer or pay more for the premium edition to get this game.

So if midway does do this again, I hope they set it up for online play.
